Great service - brilliant communication with friendly staff and the kit turns up with everything you need - super organised. The only let down is the courier service - Parcelforce behaving ineptly as usual, so that would be my only criticism - use a reliable courier!

Great way to try kit and free - all arrived on time in perfect condition, well boxes with everything that was needed.

Easy to send back, all packaging supplied.

Only worry was length of time it took to refund the deposit - took 4 days to appear back in the account.

A great way to test equipment before buying. Equipment has always arrived in time, if not earlier for no difference in price and courier collection is also excellent.

The first time I came across Try The Kit it looked a bit too good to be true.
I tried them over Christmas to get a nice long loan. The camera and pair of lenses were in great condition in solid pelican cases.
The loan ended as the snow hit, meaning post delays up in our remote village.
They couldn't have been more understanding and helpful over the delay in the return.
Would definitely recommend.

I have now used Try the Kit multiple times (most recently in December 2025) and their customer service remains as excellent as it was the very first time I used them. All the staff really go out of their way to ensure customers have a fantastic experience and I genuinely wish more customer-facing businesses treated their customers half as well!

I continue to recommend their services to others and hope to continue using them myself. They are also excellent ambassadors for the camera brands they represent and the equipment loans I've had have really helped me to make more informed decisions about the kit I buy.

Pick up by Parcel Force did not happen, we had snow but no update from Parcel Force so a day wasted waiting in. Contacted Try the kit who emailed me a label for the post office ( this for me is a much better option)
