Perfect from beginning to end for a Canon binocular trial. I failed to read page 2 of an email which listed minor damage on the binoculars that I was hiring and I phoned them to report the minor damage. They picked up the phone quickly. No robot. Everything that I was going to report they had already listed, so totally an error on my part. Nice to get a professional friendly response though. Deposit was returned, no hassle. Communication throughout was great.

Very efficient, they even called me to check if I was available for them to send me the lens two days earlier.
Prompt communications and deposit refunded on the same day.

It seemed from the video linked that I could get my deposited funds back quick. But that was not the case.

Anyway, in terms of renting and trying some Panasonic Lumix gear, it was a smooth experience.

Everything worked as it should and helped me make my decision in finalising my buying list of equipment for my content creation machine.

Drop-off and Pick-Up of the gear was good (they even wanted to get the gear to me early, but I missed that email).

But I had no idea when Parcel-Force would pick-up.
I got the email literally less than 5 mins before PF showed up.

The driver told me he had sent the reminder email about the pick-up 2 hours before...
I guess that was a Parcel-Force issue.

So all in all a good experience, and would recommend you try the Lumix kits.

Too bad I only had a day I was able to test, but it was enough to help me buy into the Lumix ecosystem. So great idea Panasonic.

I'm also a Canon user (for now at least).

The 2 day ‘free’ trial is a bit of a waste of time. In reality you only really get one day - by the time the driver has dropped the kit off it seems like you’re packing it up again for collection.

Try the Kit is an efficient service for, well, trying out kit before you buy. It worked well and gives you a couple of days to play around with potential purchases. Efficient operation - I recommend

Really useful service, to test camera kit when it can be a big expense, and I can't fault the service. Easy delivery and pick up, friendly customer service when I had questions, and it's been a great way for me to decide on what to invest in next.

I ordered the Canon EOS R7 to test out, however there were no instructions on how to use the camera and the basic functionalities. For us I do not feel I got to use the camera to its full extent and suggest when the cameras are given out on loan, something should be sent with the camera to highlight the main functions and the advantages of using the camera. I also think a carrier should be provided to carry the essentials with the camera.

Another suggestion is when you have a camera, it might be worth adding the essential items you will require to use the camera so you order all the equipment required. I didn't realise I had to order the lens separately until it arrived.

The process of ordering, receiving and returning is super easy and smooth and have to commend the company for this.

The try the kit platform is easy to use with clear email confirmation. Plus the cameras were packed securely!

The lens ( RF 15-35mm) came in its protective packaging and was as described. It gave a good feeling for what the lens can do and its limitations - to assess whether I would use it enough to purchase.

It's great to be able to try out (often expensive) kit over a long bank-holiday weekend all for free. Everything went smoothly and would highly recommend the scheme.

Very easy to select the lenses to try and book for the trial period.
As the period I wanted was over a Bank Holiday I got longer to use the lenses.

I received confirmation that the equipment had been returned in good order and the deposit was paid very quickly.
