I sincerely want to thank you Josh for helping me pass the TOEFL iBT test last month. I truly believe I wouldn’t have succeeded without your Preparation Course — enrolling in it was one of the best decisions I made to prepare for such an important exam.
Your videos were not only engaging and informative, but also filled with practical tips that helped me understand what to expect on test day. I really appreciate all the work you do to support learners like me in reaching our goals and dreams.
I highly recommend future TOEFL testers to take this course, Josh is the BEST!

TST Prep was a game-changer for me!
I had only 3 weeks to prepare for the TOEFL, and thanks to TST Prep’s I was able to reach the score I needed to get into the university I applied to. I followed their videos, took notes, reviewed their examples, and practiced using the websites they recommended. Everything was super clear and helpful. I highly recommend it to anyone preparing for the TOEFL!

As someone that had only two weeks for preparing for the TOEFL and had to study after work, I was looking for a well-structured course that would teach me everything I had to know before taking the test - I'm so happy to have found the Emergency Course offered by TST Prep. After completing the course, doing four of the mock tests and using some of the online resources mentioned in the course (ELSA Speech Analyzer and TOEFL Test Ready), I was able to score 115/120! Major highlight is the positivity brought by Josh throughout the course, definitely brought that along with me in the test and this was incredibly helpful to stay focused and motivated. Thank you so much TST Prep!
I cannot thank you enough for your content, Josh!! Every video was so helpful when I started studying for my TOEFL test. Also got so motivated while reading the comment section because everyone had a very good experience with your content/guides, which made me believe I could do it too. I really wanna thank you for your videos and the emergency course, they were very helpful. I got an 86 score the first time I took the test by only watching your videos but I needed to get 90 so the second time I bought the emergency course and also watched your videos and got 99 with a 29/30 in the writing section!!
If you need to take the TOEFL for the first time and got no idea of where to start, I highly recommend TST Prep.
You're a great teacher, Josh!!! <3
As a fluent speaker (some would say native), I thought I wouldn’t need to do any studying for the TOEFL test but after the first two times getting lower than 100, I knew I needed to study the actual test if I wanted to get more than that. Thankfully, with the emergency course for the TOEFL, I studied for two days using the course and their YouTube videos and I got a 109!!!
Hello,
I’m Ayana. I have been trying for the Toefl and saw about Tstprep website in google as well as in YouTube. I took their Private Classes with Mr. Todd Stuchiner. Trust me guys, he is intelligent, talented and he taught me in such a way that I scored 30/30 for speaking & 105/120. Yes, he does his job well!! And he goes above and beyond his limits just to ensure the success of his students. If anyone who is searching for a good teacher and a training program, join the TstPrep and take classes with Todd. You will see the changes….
The materials, the courses, lots of tips and useful templates. Moreover I just took the emergency course not even one on one. Though with all the pdf and courses I can ace it . It is because of your easy teaching
I cannot thank this channel enough! I retook TOEFL in October 2024 year and scored 115 - 29 in Reading, Listening, and Writing, 28 in Speaking. This is 9 points higher than the previous year’s result (March 2023); both times I used TST Prep channel and now I recommend this content to everyone around me who is interested in taking TOEFL. Awesome work! TST Prep is a gem for everyone who is confused about the test and wants to prepare in a limited time.
It is one of the best website to practice toefl. I used there templates and watched there videos on youtube they were really helpfull. I scored 94 on toefl with the help of this Website and there youtube channel.
Most genuine, morale, greatest teacher I could have ever imagined. Thank you!!
I had to do an emergency exam and I prepared for my TOEFL in one and a half days. I literally only saw your videos and did your practice exams. I got a 114. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to you sir. The way you explained every topic, the structures, everything. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I bought their emergency course and just had a few days to prepare for the TOEFL test. I did many of their exercises, watched all the 6.5h long emergency course and many videos in their YouTube channel, and scored 91 (previously 75 1 year before). My reading jumped from 13 to 24 (this was the piece I focused more btw).
I’m really grateful for the content Josh and his team published in the internet!
I scored 102/120 on my TOEFL exam and it was mainly due to Josh's videos on YouTube. He is well prepared and makes the videos easy to follow and understand. All the tips and templates, plus his overall experience on the matter really helped me prepare and get a feel as to how the exam would go.
I took private classes with Todd. He assessed my current score and gave me feedback to reach Toefl desired score for FPGEE. I got
R 22, L 25, S 26, W 24. Your way of teaching is excellent especially for speaking task 1 and task 3. Thank you so much.
Absolutely fantastic videos by Josh and his TST prep channel. Managed to score 102 solely (!) on his YouTube videos during one week. If I had more time I'm 💯 sure I would have scored more.
Highly recommend!
The other reviews of this place are phenomenal and rightly so. I want to talk about the specific products by TST so you can decide which works best for you:
1) Free YouTube Videos: TST has free, comprehensive TOEFL-style questions on their YouTube channel. You can find at least four full tests (some are broken into parts in different videos) for FREE!
2) Free PDF Documents: Check the YouTube video descriptions for free PDFs, including templates for speaking and writing. Super helpful. I didn't memorise them but just got the gist to help structure my response. Please look for documents like "100 Independent Speaking Questions" and "100 Listening Questions". I found these pdf when I logged in to the TST websites. These PDFs are extremely high-yield for your prep.
3) Free Practice Questions: Please search on google or duckduckgo for "Practice questions for TOEFL speaking" to find a TST website with speaking questions (click submit sample button to see the full question), sample student responses, and teacher feedback. More free practice for speaking!
4) Paid Emergency Course: Now the paid options. For around $30 (with a coupon), the Emergency Course offers two full-length tests with sample answers and extra goodies like 20 listening lectures to practice fast note taking. It's cheaper compared to another company that sells practice tests. (I cannot mention that company because of Trust pilot guidelines). If you watched their Youtube free videos, you know their practice test are excellent! :-D
5) Speaking Evaluation: For $30, a TST teacher provides feedback on your speaking response. This helped me improve my score significantly, in a short time (I ended with a 29. I admit I started with a high score but the feedback helped me polish my skills). Highly recommended if you're struggling with the speaking section. Please get this well in advance so you have plenty of time to work on mistakes.
6) Writing Evaluation: Similar to the speaking evaluation, a TST teacher evaluates your writing response for $30. I got a 26 even though I lost a few points due to a problem while taking the exam at home :,) Here's the thing, AI can check your writing; however, there is a problem relying solely on AI without human evaluators as of 2025. AI can tell you your mistakes but it doesn't triage them. For instance AI will indicate many comma mistakes (argh!) and change sentence structures. But those aren't mistakes ETS examiners penalize extensively, it's just that AI prefers to write sentences in its stringent way which it learned from the internet. That's fine. But you might need a teacher to tell you which mistakes are blatantly obvious and which can be ignored as a difference in writing. You can skip this but if you want an experienced teacher to evaluate your TST writing please get help from the experts at TST.
Customer service: My emergency course test had a question that I already attempted in one of their free YouTube videos. I contacted TST and they helped immediately. So 10/10.
I hope this review is comprehensive enough. The free resources are a must for everyone, and the paid products are great for targeted practice. TST tests are necessary for prep, so going through 1-2 of their tests is essential for the exam, even with excellent English proficiency. Best of luck!
