Blame myself

Blame myself. Ordered vinyl from a supplier who uses Tufnel. After a previous bad experience with Tufnel absolutely refuse to order anything from any supplier using them.
Needless to say nothing delivered on delivery day, one piece arrived 3 days later, the other 6 days later. Damaged.
At least theyre consistent.

Paid £9.99 for delivery of one length…

Paid £9.99 for delivery of one length of fascia but it didn’t arrive. I contacted the couriers Tufnell and they advised it was damaged and referred me back to the supplier. However Fascia expert didn’t even know there was a problem as Tufnells hadn’t contacted them!! Fascia Expert immediately dispatched another length of fascia. Tufnell were due to deliver yesterday but not received. So again due to deliver today...still not received. Fascia Expert have emailed me again today apologising for the appalling service I am receiving from Tufnells who apparently are delivering today!!

Worst service ever

Worst service ever! Got sent delivery details telling me goods were on the van 9/3 .waited in all day only to find my delivery went back to the depot! No card no nothing! Customer service was automated response that did nothing. Goods arrived 10/3 without warning or email. The driver was the most miserable g*t ever...
Tufnell look at DPD business model and quick.

Very poor service

Very poor service. They missed their committed delivery 3 times. After 1 week delay, they finally delivered it and they faked our signature on the receipt. They left the boxes outside the door and half the delivery was missing.
DO NOT TRUST or USE THIS COMPANY!

Unreliable transport company…

No stars at all for this company who delivers Christmas trees for the retailer Primrose.co.uk and the supplier of these trees Jadecliff nurseries. Never delivered and posted they did. Still no Christmas tree and no hope in sight. 3 days after promised delivery. Hopeless communication. They use subcontractors with no reliability.

We have now received our tree. It was delivered to the wrong address. Both Primrose, Tufnell and Jadecliff did work to track it down. Still not a great experience- lots of wasted time on the phone.

One star because I did not have the option of leaving none. After losing half of an order, it has taken almost a month to get the rest of my order delivered. Useless, incompetent and hopeless does not even begin to describe this bunch

These muppets shouldn’t be left to…

These muppets shouldn’t be left to deliver an egg cup let alone claiming they are the no.1 in irregular freight. They are the irregular ones..
Lost the package for 4 days between saying they were sending and then actually delivering it. Delivered a £2500 bike in a smashed up box so bad that I didn’t even have to refuse delivery after unpacking as I could see all the damage on the bike without removing!!
It loooked like they had flung the box around their depot.
In a pretty poorly regarded market anyway they take the crown for being the worst.

Poor communication!

This company was used by a retailer to deliver furniture to my home, there communication was totally unacceptable in this day and age, unable to confirm date nor time of delivery, no way of live tracking of my order, no way contacting delivery team via company or myself. Team were great only let down by poor and dated company technology in 2020 ! Even Amazon keeps customers updated, need to take leaf out their book!

Broken promises, compete lack of professionalism, lies, incompetancy... the list could go on.... AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Ordered a dining table set from a fantastic company whose only fault was using the simply shocking Tuffnells! Needed this item urgently so paid £25 for a guaranteed Saturday delivery. Was shocked to find it was out for delivery on the Friday. Changed work plans, spoke to the furniture company and to Tuffnells and had to make arrangements to have it delivered on the Friday. It never came. Phoned to find out what happened at 5pm and was told the driver was unable to deliver when he came. He hadn't come. I was later told by Tuffnells that the item was still on his van and the attempt was never made as previously stated. I was then promised it would come on the Saturday as previously booked. I took the day off work at great cost and.... surprise surprise, it never came. The furniture company tried for an hour to contact the depot with no success to see what happened. I then tried and stayed on hold for nearly 2 hours with no answer. I'm seriously out of pocket, have been lied to, made promises that weren't kept, had no success in talking to anyone at Tuffnells and am utterly furious. A complete joke of a company. Looking at all the reviews on the Internet it would appear a huge number of people have had similar problems. My advice.... Avoid this company at all costs!!

The worst company I have ever dealt with,
I have never dealt with a company that is so inept, apathetic, disorganised and dishonest.

Steel your parcels and then give you the run around for days,
giving you hope of checking the so called CCTV at their depots . . .

They have lost a box 120CM x 80CM x 60 cm... Imagine...
and DO NOT WANT TO DISCUSS THIS MATTER ANY FURTHER,

I WAS ADVISED ALL HAS BEEN DONE FOR ME . . .
AVOID THIS COMPANY - COMPLETE BUNCH OF SHARKS - VERY DISHONEST

The worst customer service I have ever…

The worst customer service I have ever experienced.
I ordered 3 items for next day delivery on friday and was told I would receive all 3 of them. I was given a tracking number but you can’t track it online so I had the pleasure of calling them up. My first call was lovely I spoke to a lady she told me my items were out for delivery today but the time frame was 8am - 5pm which is ridiculous. Anyway I received 2 of 3 of my items at 2pm and was told by the driver he only had 2 to deliver. I called them again and spoke to a nice lady who told me the label was ripped off and that’s why they couldn’t deliver so she’s gonna get it delivered for me the next day (Tuesday). All day went by and still didn’t receive my item. So I called them again spoke to a gentleman who told me they hadn’t put it out for delivery and he told me not to worry because he will upgrade it to be delivered before 12 on Wednesday. So I called up today (Wednesday morning) and spoke to the rudest woman I have ever had to deal with. She told me my delivery was out today but the upgrade wasn’t Guaranteed and I shouldn’t of been promised it. There was NO sympathy, NO apology and NO kindness. She put me on hold with out telling me and transferred me straight to another line. No idea who she was connecting me to and I was waiting for 10 mins before i hung up. Absolutely outraged.

What a dreadful company

What a dreadful company. Told I must be at home to receive delivery but they then put the item on the wrong van then and then refuse to allow the driver of the van it's on to come three miles out of his way to deliver, great customer service eh? So I need to stay at home for a second day, just in case they get it right this time!

Bunch of Apes is harsh to our primeval brethren!!!
Turned up an hour early so missed them. Depot said they do not give estimated time of arrival when her colleague did exactly that 3 hours beforehand.

Had to re-arrange delivery but told not to leave it too long as the item might get damaged in their warehouse!!!!!!!!!

One box absolutely smashed to pieces when received. Contained so many parts for a multi-gym I won't know if it's all there until I put it together.

Then realised that 1 box out of the 3 was missing so had to arrange another delivery. Fortunately by Yodel this time.

As other users have said before, and you have been warned....

IF THE RETAILER USES THESE IMBECILES TO DELIVER YOUR ITEM.... DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!

P.S. If you are interested, Tufnells Ipswich could not locate the missing box, when considering it weighed 50kg, it's quite an achievement to lose it!!!!!!

Don't buy from vendors who use this shower of a company for their deliveries

I ordered a reclining chair for my terminally ill father who was struggling to get comfortable lying flat on a bed or sitting straight up in a chair. I paid for 24 hour delivery to provide as much comfort as possible in his remaining time with us. We were advised by the store that the chair would be delivered to the kerbside but we would need to arrange for someone to take the chair in the house. As Tufnells couldn't give us a time for delivery we put all strong lads in our family on standby for the day. The Tufnells delivery man turned up without any warning and then demanded someone help him remove the chair off the van - they had put it onto the wrong kind of delivery truck without a taillift. Of course neither my frail 78 year old mother or even frailer 82 year old dad could do that and so he announced he was leaving and would be back tomorrow. Despite being at fault they refused to wait for one of the lads to drive around to help them do something Tufnells themselves were responsible for. So that's another 24 hours my poor father has to suffer. Totally unimpressed with this company.

Lost our order twice and next day delivery took four days.

Lost our order so we waited in all day for nothing (Friday) Then they managed to locate the order at the end of the day they were supposed to have delivered it to us. It was then rearranged to have a special,delivery on the Saturday. Once again, we waited in all day but it wasn’t delivered. The company we had bought the goods from told us that the data from Tufnell showed the goods as having been delivered. One hour later our order was located, yet again, and we were informed that it was on its way to us in the lorry. So the next day delivery that was arranged on the Thursday first thing in the morning got lost twice and finally arrived at ours on the Monday. The delivery man was very pleasant and apologetic, but as a courier company I would recommend that you don’t use them.
