I would give zero stars if I could.

Do not touch with a barge pole! We arranged for my son to do his GCSE Geology and paid £400 plus expenses for a weekend doing Geology coursework. However excel tutors did not bother to enter him to the exam and so that was £600 wasted. We have sent numerous emails, all of which are ignored and tried to call numerous times. The person who answers the phone barely speaks English and kept telling me to email!!! Keep well away unless you want to be fleeced.

WE HAVE NEVER HEARD OF YOU, OF YOUR SON, AND WE DO NOT GIVE TUITION FOR GCSE GEOLOGY! You need to know very well who you are doing business with, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE TO PAY SO MUCH MONEY! I enrolled my son for his A levels exam…

I enrolled my son for his A levels exam and they returned a No result. They did not mark his papers because he did only 2 modules out of 4 with them. However he had already passed the 2 previous ones and a certificate was produced for it. They refused to answer our phone calls and emails. Rather they accept their errors they turn their backs on us. Real scammers be aware !

Once again, you are giving your review to the wrong tutoring business. I am sorry for what happened to you. Be careful when you are seeking help and support for your children. It is very important to know the business and people you are hiring for something so important! Make sure they can help your children. Know their correct name so that you can give your reviews to them and not to a different business that has never heard of you.

I replied to you over a year ago and you still have not removed this damaging review. The correct name of this business is Tutors Excel and we have never heard of you and of your son. You have not given the name of the business you wanted to review, and you have not said which A level your son took. Even without those details we do not recognise you, because we know our students very well and would know if you had been one of our parents. All our parents are very well focused and they know the name of the company who is looking after their children's education. As you have failed to reply to us, we are now taking further action.

Otherwise, were you paid to give this review? I will also ask Trustpilot to investigate your claim.

Marquise is an excellent tutor

Marquise is an excellent private tutor for my two young children aged 10 and 13. They have had a huge improvement in their results in maths and english at both their schools over the last 2 years. Highly recommended.

Marquise is a fantastic tutor. She has a calm and patient approach that has given my child confidence and skills to achieve her full potential. Highly recommended and very grateful.

Very patient teacher to my hyperactive nephew

Marquise was teaching my nephew who was 10y old. She is very nice, kind lady and very good teacher.
My nephew wasn't able to speak any English.
She was very patient with him. End of the course he learnt a lot as a beginner. He learnt a lot of vocabularies, reading,writing...
I highly recommend her. Do not hesitate to enroll yourself to her!

My son was tutored by Tutors Excel during primary and secondary school years. I highly recommend them! He thoroughly enjoyed being taught by the tutors. Each lesson was fun, effective and engaging. I can’t thank them enough:)

Helped my son with his GCSE French

Helped my son with his GCSE French, he was struggling with his French and with the input from Marquise he attained a respectable grade in his exams. Very pleased that we were recommended Tutors Excel by a friend. Would highly recommend for GCSE French.
