It is. Very painful to move out of a place you feel at home, because i had my peace of mind to go on my daily activities, managers attend to reported issues quickly, love and mutual respect housemates, I have no regret in my stay,and hope to find myself a home as 91 Castle Road YO111TQ SCARBOROUGH.

They have good properties and always supportive of their tenants. I lived in their property for more than two years. They provide quality services and affordable homes.

Tom and Lindy are both great. Communication was always clear and it was easy to get in touch with them both. Any issues we had were attended to in good time and to a good standard. We were able to have pets and we had no issues at all. Moving in and out was made simple too. Thanks TWH homes!

Tom and Lindy are both incredibly helpful. They came to sort any of our issues ASAP and were very fair with payment for any damages, ie the back door window broke during our tenancy and Tom suggested to split the payment 50/50 but he definitely didn’t have to. They allowed us to have cats and were always kind whenever we communicated.

Brilliant property management team. Ensures tenants are vetted appropriately and respond to any issues swiftly.

Have just vacated a room in one of Tom's properties, only because I was able to rent a studio apartment on favourable terms. During the 4+ years Tom was my landlord, he was a pleasure to deal with, always making everything simple and fixing any problems, in my room or the house as a whole, as quickly as was possible. I would rent from Tom again without hesitation

Shocking a supposed 100% rated letting agent/landlord could rent out Basement Flat, 6 Belle Vue Parade, Scarborough, YO11 1SU, out in the condition it was in & still charge the full rent & not care about the effects it caused to me, his tenant & my dog over the 6 month tenancy. Saturated carpets, multiple leaks some serious, damp, mould. Had to get Housing Standards involved & they found serious issues relating to fire safety, flat not being licensed. Tom had this flat back on market using photos which do not represent the condition of the flat. Found Tom to be a very snidey character & is not to be trusted (in my opinion) & I do not & will not recommend TWH HOMES to anyone, all can be backed up with proof. Feel sorry for the next tenant of the above flat with the continuing issues. Tom did offer to put me in a room in a shared house but having a XL Bully it seemed an unsafe offer. Tom also offered to break me from the tenancy as he realised I was going to take issues with flat to the council but I couldn’t be homeless on street with my dog & was unable to find other accommodation. Tom was not assaulted nor was he threatened by me, in fact police have seen messages on phone from Tom contacting me at times from 7am to gone 11pm & of a goading nature. It was suggested by police to block his numbers & have all contact through a third party as he was causing me so much stress. Below is an email from Tom which explains the woman in floods of tears. It also highlights some of the lack of communication in Tom’s bussiness which happens often & could have put a member of his team at risk of getting bitten by my dog. It is lucky I was at home.

I just wanted to send an apology for the mistaken intrusion today. Someone had asked for a viewing, we asked our viewing agent to do the viewing but we failed to ask her to arrange it for after you had left. We include this information in almost all cases, but in today’s case, we didn’t. She assumed that the flat was empty, hence she used our key to enter, whereupon she realised our mistake.

As a consequence, I am reviewing and altering the process of booking viewing so that the viewing agent will be given guidance every time about whether or the property is unoccupied (in which case they can use our key to enter) or occupied (in which case they would need to get permission from the occupant).

We appreciate that tenants need notice before entry, and have the right to refuse entry. In today’s example, we didn’t follow protocol due to a process omission error on my part. I apologise for this, and for causing you distress.

My tenancy was for six months and twh homes were absaloutly fantastic everything went verry smoothly from the start of tenancy very sad to have to leave the building was verry well maitained I have had a few different landlords in scarbrough but can genuinly say twh have been the best all staff are amazing and friendly

Had a really good stay in Scarborough before moving away all thanks to the good management of TWH Homes.
