Hi, to all who are thinking of buying Twinkly Lights , they are amazing, and the customer service is out -standing and first class would recommend to all .
DO NOT BUY DIRECT FROM TWINKLY!
Ordered 2 items on the 14th of November with 14 showing in stock at the time, and still not shipped!
4 Weeks later and nothing .. and now with 2 weeks till Christmas, I've received nothing but empty emails.
Dropped them an email after 7 business days and after chasing up 5 times I have received ...
- 3 x Escalating with Warehouse emails
- 1 x Escalating with Warehouse Manager email
- 4 x Empty "We care" platitudes ... without actually appearing to care enough to get anything resolved
- ZERO updates supplied by them without me following up
- ZERO estimated time frames for resolution
- ZERO new lights for Christmas
Yeah, and a Merry Christmas to you as well, Twinkly!
UPDATE: Claiming there were serious issues with the “Delivery Chain” is probably misleading. Nothing was ever shipped or even a con note generated.
They ended up crediting 1 and saying they could ship the other, and then they credited that 2nd one 3 days before Xmas.

Difficult to return lights that don't work…
I love the lights and how they are able to change colors with the app. I have a couple $1,000 invested in these lights. Every year a string will only light up half of it, the other half being black. Customer service is very difficult to try to return the lights. They want you to try all these different things which doesn't work. Finally, I was able to get a replacement for one of my lights. I have many that have not worked and I've just had to throw them away.

Support is responsive and fair
Support team is thorough when their products fail, but they don't try to "get you" on technicalities. I own 10 strings. I have had some fail. When they do, they have been replaced if they are within the 1st year of use.
One of our power units stopped working
One of our power units stopped working. Support was able to help us troubleshoot via email and then sent us a new one at no charge.
Been using it several years
Been using it several years, never a problem. This year... I couldn't control the lights. I tried and tried.. nothing worked. I notified customer service and got a prompt reply. Everything they suggested didn't work. They kept trying... never gave up. Today I got the solution thru customer service... they figured it out... and now everything is working fine. Their customer service is second to none! 👍🏻👍🏻

Worth the money, and good customer service
The lights look great and have many fun patterns, also link nicely into Home Assistant. Got them out for Christmas this year and plug pin was snapped, Twinkly quickly and for free sent me a replacement.

Wish I'd done a bit more digging before buying
Wish I'd done a bit more digging before ordering. Was recommended by a friend. Customer support options non-existent, order placed a week ago, sits unfulfilled, website says delivery 3-5 days with no info about delivery issues. I started looking into contacting them, they have a chat bot - which just repeats your product is out of stock, before you've even told it which product. The help center doesn't have any 'help with orders' options, and doesn't have either a phone number or email address. You can raise requests but it's all about how to become a seller, or tech support - there is no help for my issue there. Ordered on 1st December - will I get lights before Christmas?.... who knows - Twinkly took my money, left my order unfulfilled and I have no way to check what's happening. FedEx says label printed, waiting for package.

So worth every penny you pay
These lights are expensive. Good advice. If you're on a budget and want your tree to look truly glorious, buy the best cheap tree that you can find and buy these lights. I have a 6ft tree with 250 strings. $70 for the tree and $179 for the lights and it looks absolutely glorious! You just can't buy better (except for govee tree lights. They've really stepped it up on their lights too).

Twinkly support responded quickly and solved my problem with no hassle at all. Their support of their out-of-warranty product exceeded my expectations
Unreliable, Defective Product, Died in 24 Hours
This product arrived on a Monday, was very flaky to setup. The firmware push made the control unit very unresponsive and many other Reddit users report the same experience. But eventually, I finished the setup after several reboots. They kept shutting themselves off randomly. 24 hours later, Tuesday evening, they wouldn't stay lit for more than 10-30 seconds and the control unit was burning hot to the touch, like an incandescent lightbulb hot!
Their support team kept asking ever more ridiculous questions about how I might have mishandled or broken the product myself. I provided all answers and test results asked of me.
They were unable to provide any explanation or solution and kept slow-rolling their support. Which with their very tight return policy, made me very nervous. Before it was too late to get my money back, I was forced to request a refund.
This product was defective and other people I've been in communication with say the same about theirs. This company clearly has no interest in making a reliable product. This company clearly has no interest in providing reliable support.
I would rate this a 1, but 1 ratings are largely underweighted by the algorithms to try and balance out vindictive ratings. I rated this a 2 instead of a 1 in an attempt to have this rating taken seriously.

Above and beyond customer service! We have purchased multiple strings and both the 13 foot and 20 foot trees with only 1 problem that was quickly and politely resolved.
