expensive; comes up with cryptic and lazy instructions

''“Make WinPE Bootable” copies a special Boot Configuration Data (BCD) file that boots Windows from RAM. ''.

The 'article' only has this lazy sentence when one tries to find what the PPE thingy is. What does that gibberish means to the rest of us who aren't computer nerds? Why would I do the bootable thing instead of not doing it? Do I get a new pair of boots? etc.

Loving Winclone 6

I have an unusual computer, a MacPro 2010 running Mac High Sierra and Windows 10 in Bootcamp. I have been making Bootcamp backups for a while now with TwoCanoes Winclone 6. Recently my Win10 Bootcamp drive became inaccessible, Windows could not repair it and the process to reinstall Bootcamp and update everything takes ages. Time to try the Winclone restore from the Mac side. It worked perfectly, if slowly. I just followed the simple tutorial and left the machine overnight. Next day, everything was back up and running again. A great time saver for a small investment.

Broken software and bad support team

I had to buy Winclone 10 Standard to use a feature which was not available in the Trial version (making a Windows install bootable). After purchasing it, the feature just was totally broken. After emailing the support, they didn’t read any of the logs I sent them and just were rude.

After I told them about it a second time, they sent me a refund for the license without asking. As somone who also works in enterprise level tech support, this is unacceptable behaviour to at least take even a slight look at the logs, or direct them to someone (eg. 2nd level) who can read the logs.
