As a start-up business, we wanted to forge our own path and differentiate ourselves from other brands. We take pride in our British heritage and felt it was crucial to champion British rum. Thus, we embarked on launching the first-ever British rum brand founded by two women. For the Two Lasses, it's paramount that every step of fermenting and distilling begins from scratch, right here in England. Like most rums, Two Lasses Rum is crafted from sugarcane molasses. In collaboration with our Master Distiller, we import 100% sugarcane molasses to create our own distinct spirit, rejecting the practice of importing pre-distilled liquid from the Caribbean or elsewhere. The imported molasses undergo fermentation and then pass through a super-premium triple distillation process using traditional copper pot stills. From the initial 200 litres of liquid used, only 25 litres achieve the desired richness and full flavour that characterise our satisfyingly warm rum.

Good easy online shopping experience,from ordering I was updated when my order was dispatch and when it will be delivered.
The product is first class I discovered this business at a Christmas fair a few years ago and I treat myself and my brother in law each year for Christmas as it’s the best spiced Rum I have ever had.

Tasty rum - deep flavours!
I bought this rum on a whim because it was supposed to taste of Parkin. It actually does, but it is so much more. Rich tastes and lovely & warm to drink. Very popular in our household!

It is a completely different rum and is not trying to be like the Original Yorkshire Spiced or the new recipe Yorkshire Spiced. Our Dark Spiced Rum is clove-forward and crafted to deliver a unique flavour experience. We appreciate you giving it a go and understand taste is personal. Thanks again.
