I had an bad experience at different garage boro couldn't change spare coz it was jammed well brotton Garage tyer city have just freed and changed no hardship at all good set of lads I will limp home next time in an emergency n not go to another garage 5 stars well done

Having been let down for the second week running by Kwik Fit, called in on spec to get 2 new tyres.
Good range of tyres from budget to premium.
Fitted me in in 10 minutes, out the gate within 30.
Friendly, helpful and focused staff.
Excellent service at a great price.
Highly recommend them.

I had a slow puncture on my nearside rear tyre so I called in to Gillingham Tyre City. Will was in the office and was most helpful. He told me that it would cost £25 to repair the puncture. I decided that it was time to change all four tyres and so ordered them there and then to be fitted the following week. Will said that because I had ordered new tyres there would be no charge for the puncture repair. I had to travel from Kent to Essex the next day and there was no further problem with the nearside rear.
A week later I called in to have the new tyres fitted. Kieren balanced and fitted the new tyres. He was keen, competent and seemed to enjoy his job. I then had the front tyres adjusted for tracking.
Overall my experience at Gillingham Tyre City was excellent and both Will and Kieren were a credit to the company. Thank you and I will definitely consider using the same garage again in the future.

On Friday 10/1/2020 just after 1pm my wife and I hit a pothole which tore the front tyre on our car. Thinking how lucky we were that we were only 100 yards from Tyre City in Cambuslang we managed to nurse the car onto their forecourt. I went into the office and asked the young man if he could put a new tyre on, he informed me that they were fully booked that day. So I asked if it would be ok to take the wheel off our car using our own tools and take the wheel in a taxi to be repaired elsewhere, the extremely helpful young man said that would be no problem as long as I used our own tools. As I was opening the boot to get the jack out another man came out and stated he was in charge and that I was not allowed to take the wheel off due to health and safety as I was on their premises and that I was not allowed to leave the car on his forecourt. He insisted that I remove the vehicle immediately from his forecourt despite the fact that the tyre was torn and completely flat and that to do so meant driving out onto a busy road and some 200 yards to safely pull in beyond the traffic lights, causing further damage. He just kept saying to get it off his forecourt as he wasn’t insured for it and it was health and safety. Needless to say I will never use this company again.

Courtney always delivers fantastic service and despite moving 30 miles away i always return to Tyre City Luton for anything tyre related.

Maybe I called in at a difficult time, it was cold outside and very warm in the office/reception area but the two blokes there just couldn't be bothered. There were no other customers around when I called in (perhaps I now know why). They seemed far more interested in playing with their smart phones than dealing with my enquiry so I immediately went to Mr Tyre and found a completely different experience. They were quite busy but couldn't have been more helpful and very professional. I know where I will go in future!

Really friendly accommodating staff. Did exactly what I asked them to and within an hour.

Visited the Sutton branch today after driving over screws/nails which I thought had punctured my tyre. It was getting late, near closing time &they kindly checked my tyre. Fortunately there was no need for a repair today. Not having a spare tyre in the car to swap it was reassuring that they stayed later at work to check it for me and that put my mind to rest.

Massive thanks to Jordan who helped me in a panic on Monday morning. My tyre light came on and the guys checked each one, pumped them up, gave me a dust cap and didn't charge me!! Bless them!

Found myself with a puncture whilst in Royston and managed to put enough air in the tyre to drive a short way. Went to another puncture repair shop who were unbelievably unhelpful and said they couldn't do anything until the morning which meant I was basically stranded. They didn't even offer to put the spare on for me even though they didn't have a single car in the workshop. Fortunately came across Tyre City and the experience couldn't have been more different. They were accommodating, polite and tyres were reasonably priced. (Had 2 changed according to MOT advisory). I have nothing but praise for Shane, the Centre Manager and Andy who fitted the tyres. Will definitely back the journey back there when I need the other 2 replacing.

Rudest customer service ever, my mum just visited the halifax branch and paid extra to get her tyre fitted today and the man just said they didnt have it and what did she 'want him to do about it', then when she asked for a refund was also told there was nothing he could do about that. Ended up having to go to halfords, wont be visiting again.

Excellent service and really nice staff, helpful and looking for ways to save me money. Would recommend and definitely use again.

Had 2 rear tyres and spare from them.Thought I had a slow puncture on passenger side, due to working away from home just topped up at nearest garage.
Opposite tyre started going down as well.
Purchased small pump for emergencies.
Visited original tyre cities and asked if they could have a look as they were losing pressure each week.
Fitter was sitting down by coffee machine on his mobile phone at the time. He drove my car into the workshop (still on his phone)
Put car on ramp and said that they did not sell or fit these tyres!
Replied that all three tyres were from them and I could find the receipt if needed and they were brought on my company credit card.
Fitter said ok but would have to bring it back as he was busy, although the place was empty and he still had an hour of work time.
Took it back today and another fitter asked the problem, lo and behold the first fitter is sitting in the same chair on his phone!!
Asked to leave it for an hour as the tyres were leaking from the inside sidewalls.
Picked it up 2 hours later and asked if and what I had to pay.
Told £20, offered my company card and was told their card machine was not working (Saturday morning with 2 more cars left in the workshop?)
Luckily I had £20 on me as I do not carry that much.
Money taken...no receipt, I can guess where the £20 went.
Will never go there again and would not recommend them.

I use Coulsdon branch and I can say they are amazing. They honestly give you information and don't just want to charge you. They want returning customers that is why their customer service is brilliant.

Damaged a front tyre which cut the sidewall. Luckily both front tyres were coming up for renewal. Phoned various companies around Christchurch in Dorset and obtained a very competitive price from Tyre City. Arrived at their Christchurch branch where they fitted both tyres while I waited. Great service and a very good price. Thanks.

Having bought tyres before at this location I called in to ask for a price. The assistant manager served me and firstly gave me a high price including tracking. I no said I do not require tracking as its just 2 trailing tyres for the rear of my van. He started to tell me that there would be no guarantee if they were not tracked. I said they are just trailing tyres on a van and that I do not want the tracking done. He said he was just trying to give me the worst senario if the tracking was out of line or words to that effect
Anyway we agreed on a price and the two new tryes were fitted 175/65/R14. 4th Sep @ 15.09 I drove the Van home (about 2 miles to where I live) and all ok

The next morning I got in the Van to drive to work, and as I pulled out of my driveway I felt something was wrong (seemed like the handbrake was on) . I immediately stopped and looked around the van to find the rear offside tyre completely flat. I just pulled over as I was in the middle of the road.
I changed the wheel using the spare, and called Tyrecity. I spoke to the assistant Manager who said bring it in and they would look at it. So my wife took it in and I went to work. About an hour later I had a call from my wife whilst she was at tyre city to say its got a puncture in it and it cannot be repaired as its in the wall of the tyre. Well I was amazed, as this is a brand new tyre (it still has the chalk on it) so I asked to speak to the assistant Manager again. I explained to him that the tyre must have been defective and that it obviously went flat overnight but he was most UNAPOLOGETIC and said that I didnt take out any insurance and therefore would have to pay for a new tyre. So I agreed at that point to pay for another one.
The offending tyre Has a tiny hole in the wall of the tyre and many experienced mechanics have said that it was a defective tyre, especially as it went down overnight having only been fitted that afternoon.
Being discontented with this bad service, and having been given an invitation to report my experience GOOD or BAD to the area manger .. i did just that... on 8th Sept. and Guess what??? yes your right .. I have not even had so much as a reply or even an appology.. which just proves they are just paying lipservice to their so called "Customer Service"

Tyrecity 195 Bristol Road Bridgwater somerset TA6 4BJ excellent 5 star service they helped me out massively about fitting a tyre as had puncture on day of flying on holiday they did straight away another place needed 2 hours wait .
They then did a new exhaust today for me and although this time I had booked it in did it in a quick time very friendly service I will definitely go back and would highly recommend them to go to also they do a winter check on your car which I will go back in October thank you g marshall 👍😊

This is my 2nd visit to Tyre City, Broomfield Road Chelmsford. The 1st was to fit my tyres and wheels and the 2nd one to fit in a new battery! Very professional and kind staff, every single one of them! From the managers to all, they exceeded my expectations. Luke Scott-an amazing staff, thank you! I can’t begin to pen down all of the details but I will use you again and again.
Job done now and off to pick the kids from school.
