Happy with the purchase delivered on time, however delivery time is tad bit too much. Less time would have been perfect. Also I reside in waterford, no tyre fitting station of tyreleader. Sometimes lo... See more

Awesome experience

Awesome experience, I purchased 4 tires in May'26 and I got the 5025 and 5125 year latest manufacturer tyre which was hard to find at any other site. Pretty happy with the service and product 😊

Ignored Refusal Request, Unattended Delivery, and Completely Useless Customer Support

Ordered a tyre from Tyreleader.ie expecting reasonable delivery times within Ireland/EU. After a full working week, the parcel was still stuck in France with no sign of reaching Ireland anytime soon.

I contacted support in advance to refuse the shipment due to the excessive delay and repeatedly requested that the parcel must NOT be left unattended or marked as delivered without my acceptance.

Support confirmed in writing that “the transport company has been informed about this.”

Despite this, GLS still left the tyre unattended outside my property early in the morning and marked it as delivered anyway.

What is most frustrating is that the company then attempted to treat this as a standard customer return situation with a proposed €30 return deduction, even though:

the refusal request was made before delivery 5 days ago, when the parcel was still in the country of departure,
the seller acknowledged the request,
and the parcel was still delivered against explicit instructions.

From a customer perspective, this creates the impression that the process is designed in a way where parcels are still pushed through to “delivered” status even after refusal requests, while the customer remains exposed to substantial return deductions hidden behind “return logistics costs.”

I understand carriers can make mistakes, but in this case the support team showed very little ownership of the logistics issue and mostly repeated template responses instead of proactively resolving the situation.

What made the experience even more frustrating was the quality of the customer support communication throughout the process.

Not once did I receive a genuinely helpful or human response to the actual concern I was raising. Nearly every reply felt like a copied template repeating procedures, while my specific requests and warnings about the delivery situation were effectively ignored.

I repeatedly warned in advance that I did not want the parcel left unattended or marked as delivered, yet this is exactly what happened in the end.

We are sorry to read about your experience.

As you had already contacted our customer service team and your refusal request was acknowledged, there is no need to open a new ticket. We will ask for your case to be prioritized internally so the handling of your refusal request, the delivery conditions with GLS, and the communication you received can be reviewed as quickly as possible.

If the parcel was left unattended despite your prior instructions, this would indeed need to be raised with the carrier as an anomaly. We also regret that our replies felt generic and did not properly address your specific concerns.

Thank you for detailing what happened. Feedback like yours is taken seriously and helps us improve both our logistics follow-up and the quality of our support.

We are sorry to read about this delay and the lack of clear follow-up on your order. A 3-week wait without dispatch is understandably frustrating.

As you have already contacted customer service, your case will be prioritized internally with our after-sales service so the delivery status and your refund request can be reviewed as quickly as possible. We appreciate your feedback, and it will be used to improve the quality of our support.

Disaster of a company

Disaster of a company. Ordered and paid for a tyre. A month later and it has not been delivered and their customer service keeps telling me there's nothing they can do until the courier company (SEUR) declares it a lost shipment. Within the last few days the shipping status has changed to delivered, but still no tyre. I am now being made to fill in claim forms with the courier company while Tyreleader continue to be obstructive. Not the first time I've bought from Tyreleader, but definitely the last. Avoid at all costs.

We are sorry to read about your experience. A shipment marked as delivered when it has apparently not been received is not a normal situation.

As you have already contacted our customer service, we will ask the after-sales team to prioritize the review of your claim with the carrier so that your case can be handled as quickly and appropriately as possible.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We take it seriously and use it to improve how we manage delivery issues.
