DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE!

My 75-year-old grandad took his car here with a flat tyre, as he has done for many years and trusted them completely. He had a spare alloy wheel in the boot, which we know was there because my grandma checked it just two days beforehand.

After having two tyres replaced and returning home, he discovered that his SPARE alloy wheel had been replaced with a much cheaper steel wheel. When he went back to question this, they claimed they had taken a photo and denied any wrongdoing. Taking a photo proves nothing when a wheel can easily be swapped beforehand.

To make matters worse, they charged him an excessive amount for the work. After hearing exactly what happened, it is difficult not to feel that an elderly customer has been taken advantage of.

Having since read other reviews raising similar concerns, we feel compelled to warn others. This matter has now been reported to the police, and we will be encouraging friends, family, and anyone in the Halifax area to avoid this business.

Please think twice before trusting this garage with your vehicle.

I can’t thank Geoff and the team at STS Tyre Pros Royston enough. I came in with a puncture and was feeling really worried, especially as I had my dog with me in the car. Even though they were on their lunch break, Geoff was incredibly kind, reassuring and happy to help.

They fitted a new tyre quickly and made what could have been a very stressful situation so much easier. One of the team even moved my car forward out of the rain so that my dog and I could get back in comfortably.

The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. It’s rare to come across such genuine kindness and willingness to help. A huge thank you to Geoff and the whole team – I would highly recommend STS Tyre Pros Royston to anyone.

Popped in on Friday to Milton Keynes branch with a punctured wheel. Was served politely and professionally by staff who replaced the tyre with 15mins. Very impressed with service. Will use again.

Tyre Pros Strood supplied and fitted two Pirelli P Zeros on the same day. These aren’t easy to find but they turned it round in just a few hours. They knew what they were doing as my car is very low and awkward to lift. Friendly efficient people who know their stuff. Definitely be back when I need new fronts.

I popped into the Braintree branch today and was greeted by a very enthusiastic apprentice, she helped me to choose some tyres to suit.
She was very thorough and helpful as she found a problem that had been bugging me for ages with the slow leak from all of the tyres.
There were 3 of the censors broken and they had those in stock and even cleaned the corrosion from my discs. Sorted the tracking as well and no rush just taking time to do a proper job.
A great experience all round and as I love an interest free deal spread it over 6 months.

Excellent as always at Tyre Pros in Maidstone. Unfortunately I’ve had three punctures in about 15 months driving the same route every time, and the staff have been great each time I’ve brought the car in. I always feel like my car is in safe hands with these guys!

Cheltenham branch - I ordered an uncommon pair of tyres at 16:45 Thursday, by 10:45 the following day they were on the car. Comprehensive check of car and tracking adjusted. Outstanding service by by all prevented me from being stranded in Cheltenham on a bank holiday weekend. Thank you - Rob.

Tyre pros at Braintree Coggeshall road is the best place to go in my opinion, the service provided by the whole team is 10/10 . They are extremely polite, professional and nothing is too much trouble. Tom always remembers me his customer service is second to none . Bought them a set of tyres that were fitted with ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT FOR THE CAR. They damaged the alloy wheels and refused to take responsibility for it. The damage was extensive, showing fresh scratches and in places incompatible with damage by the curb.

Tyrepros Canterbury fitted 4 new tyres to my Yeti today, they also checked alignment.
A great experience. Customer focused, friendly and helpful staff and no wait to get started. Clean, comfortable waiting room.

Tyre Pros Wymondham were absolutely brilliant when we visited this week. Frankie Puricelli and his team were very professional and extremely helpful. We arrived with an old Astra in need of a lot of TLC. The problems were swiftly diagnosed and a report and costing for the work supplied. A huge amount cheaper that the other garage not so far away! For example, the other garage wanted £120 to diagnose if the air con needed re-gassing, then a further charge to supply and fit the coolant. Tyre Pros do a free assessment and their re-gassing charge was very reasonable. There were a lot of things that the old car needed and these were all rectified the same day. We took the car home at the end of the day, it drove SO well. It was transformed, now safe and reliable too. I want to sincerely thank Frankie and his team for working so hard and performing such a great transformation job on the old car. We were absolutely delighted! Tyre Pros is now our go-to garage from now on.

I’ve used Tyres Pro in Luton more than once now, and I honestly can’t recommend them enough. The Team there are always friendly, professional, and really helpful.

I’ve just had my MOT completed there, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. They’re reliable, efficient, and you feel like you’re in good hands every time.

Absolutely appalling experience with Tyre Pros. I would strongly advise anyone to stay far away.

My boyfriend left his car in their care to have all 4 tyres changed, and it came back with a scratch that was definitely not there before as my partner takes pride and care in his car. When we raised this with them, instead of taking responsibility or even showing a shred of concern, they completely denied everything. The scratch was clearly made by them as the scratch was clean and looked to of been made by a jack.

What made this even worse is that we had dash cam audio that captured the manager aggressively slamming the car door, which only reinforces how poorly the vehicle was treated while in their possession.

The customer service from them was unbelievably rude. We were spoken to with a shocking level of disrespect, as if we were the problem for even bringing it up. To make matters worse, the manager was incredibly unpleasant, arrogant, dismissive, and completely unhelpful throughout.

Mistakes can happen, but refusing to own up to them, ignoring clear evidence, and treating both customers and their property with such disregard is completely unacceptable. Truly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.

To add to this, when we contacted their head office, we were informed Tyre Pros DID NOT follow protocol for a complaint and DID NOT contact their head office like they were supposed to do in this situation, they just kept it to themselves, hoping the problem would disappear. Tyre Pros - Acle.

I had an appalling experience with this tyre fitting company. I was given a specific time for the fitting, but when I returned, the car hadn’t even been touched. The attitude from the staff was dismissive, as if they couldn’t care less about the delay or the inconvenience caused.
What worried me even more was the behaviour of the people actually doing the work — their lack of professionalism made me question whether I even wanted them near my car. When I asked for an updated timescale, I was told it could be another couple of hours, again with no sense of urgency or customer care.
Overall, the service was shockingly poor. Based on my experience, I would avoid this place at all costs.
