0/10 I strongly do NOT recommend…

On Saturday Sept. 27, they charged my card again twice (over $200 each) when they weren’t supposed to do that. So when I asked the guy working at the counter why he did that, he said ‘oh the charge is going to be refunded but right now it says pending’. Fast forward 3 days later both transactions posted to my account. On Wednesday Oct 1, I called them and asked how long it takes for my refund of the second transaction and they said 7 business days. So now it’s over 7 business days and nothing. Today Oct. 7, I came back to here at 10:35am. After I explained the situation to another guy at the counter. This other manager I was immediately told that ‘I have to wait for the other manager who’s out in the yard to finish whatever he was doing’ . So I waited for over 40 mins for the other manager to tell me that “They do not do refunds. That I have to call my bank and dispute the charge because their ‘system’ won’t let them refund my money.

For a company to accept cash and card payments daily and so easily yet to have shady operations on refunding STOLEN money back on a card is INSANE. I am a struggling single mother of a toddler son on the spectrum who receives minimal to no help and works a minimum wage job. No one has $210.97 to waste like that. I pray karma is swift and just for this business.

For the long and huge inconsiderate inconvenience they have put me through, I will be filing several complaints and will tell my experience on many platforms especially the FTC, Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, State General Attorney’s Office, Help Me Howard and much more . No wonder why they are NOT an accredited business on the BBB.

If I can help deter this business from stealing from another tax paying citizen I will continue to do it. Lesson learned.

Turned up today only to be told you…

Turned up today only to be told you could only enter the site if you were using a wheelbarrow costing £120 so as I wouldn't fill a barrow I left as did another 7 people at the same time. Stupid rule as if the 7 people who got turned away spent £100 each then the place is losing a fortune. Probably lost thousands in the 8 hours that people were turned away. Even the staff don't agree with this rule but it comes from head office so nowt they can do.

Good stuff from Lonsdale U-Pull it!

I hit up the Londsdale U-Pull it on the Labor day holiday. For a start they were open (win) but I found the guys really helpful and polite. They pointed me to the area where I'd find what I needed, which I did in about three minutes. "I pulled it" in 5 minutes, swung back through the gate. 21 bucks for an ignition module, 90 day warranty if it was a dud. Swiped my card... done deal in 15 minutes. Even better,,, fixed the nagging missfire that's bugged me for months. Good work U-Pull it! I'll be back to pull it again soon.

Upullit Inverkeithing
Been using this yard for years but wont be using them again new staff are very rude too people when you ask them a question. Plus they charge more than the price it states on their website but the most annoying part is they advertise new stock been put out on their website but when you go over the next day off it being put on their website the cars are totally stripped nothing left on them because they have got a team of foreign people in the yard that removes all the parts for exporting out off the country so what is the point in posting new stock when the cars are already stripped.

Went to U pull it and and met the piece of poo behind the counter

Went to U pull it and as sometimes happens U don't find the part you need. As I was leaving the old bloke with glasses is an absolute piece of poo of a human. I asked as I approached the gate whether he wanted to check my tool box,. Didn't reply to me so I took that as no. But then he doesn't open the gate and says rudely that he has to check out my tool box.
I let him check it and as I left told him to have sex with himself.
That bloke is repeatedly one of the rudest people I have met.
Will be writing to U pull it about him.
Will let you know how that goes lol

As of today i was a regular visitor to the site and have spent loads of my money with the company, the way in which i was spoken to by the two blokes in the office was utterly disgusting, those two old boys need an attitude adjustment, an absolute disgrace, 100 mile round trip now on two occasions to be spoken to like dirt and when stood up to asked to leave, get on ebay or synetiq for your parts, at least you’ll feel like you’re a valued customer

Went to the Gilman site over the…

Went to the Gilman site over the weekend, been a loyal customer off the Gillman site for many years prob spending in the thousands over the time. Will not be returning to the Gillman site again after accidentally bringing a part in to use for comparison and not notifying staff.( my bad). Upon leaving and paying for the one part out off about 15 I needed the guy behind the counter ( u pull it police) asked to search my tool bag, I agreed not having a second thought about it until he saw the old part I had for comparison. He was very quick to accuse me off stealing it and when I explained what it was there for he publicly abused and belittled me in front off at least 3 other customers there.i found it very offensive and he had better hope we don't cross paths out off work. It will then be my turn to publicly embarrass him in front off other people.very unprofessional and I would call him a liability to the u pull it name and buisness. Until we meet again BEHIND THE COUNTER GUY.

Poor customer service and attitude

i have been a customer of upullit for a number of years and have visited all of the yards. I have consistently witnessed aggressive negative attitude from one staff member at the Gilman outlet. Today it was my turn to be verbally abused for what i would consider very poor customer service. Background:
1/ I visit upullit outlets for specific, most often small items, and rather than carry tools into the yard i search for the part that im after first.
2/ If im successful i then go and get the tools that i assume that i will require for the job.
3/ After i have the part i then go to the desk to pay.
I DONT CARRY MY WALLET WITH ME WHEN IM WORKING UNDER CARS, LEAVINT LOCKED IN A SAFE PLACE IN MY VEHICLE! this necessitates a quick trip to my car to get my wallet and pay. Im always happy to wait if others are in the line up.

Today i was doing just this except i needed to leave once more than usual to get another tool. On returning to the gate the gentleman involved suggested that maybe i was taking parts out with me each time?, i assumed that he was joking and suggested that he could impound my vehicle and search it if he wished. No comment in reply to my statement. when i fronted the desk to pay (i was the only person of the public there at the time ~ 1510 today. i had a small foodland bag with me with an engine wiring loom half hanging out the top etc and a small oil cooler on the side. I asked to go and get my wallet (leaving all the goods at the counter) to which i was given a tongue lashing for needing to go out again. On my return i was advised that the price would be $28, I then offered that i had more goods than that including the engine loom and PCM. The abuse really started then!! "How am i expected to know whats in the bag? BLAH BLAH etc. Ireplied that i am telling you that i have more than $28 WORTH OF GOODS AND YOUR YELLING AT ME.? He then replied that he should charge me double!! Although Gilman is my closest branch i will no longer be going there and will advise anyone who asks about this persons arrogant and nasty attitude. I know from personal experience that working in these environments can sometimes be frustrating. But this behaviour is totally unacceptable!
Normally i would let this type of incident pass, putting it down to 'having a bad day' BUT having witnessed this persons behaviour on at least 3 other occasions over the past few years "its a pattern"

If you wish to contact me regarding this please do
