Don't buy and ask for a refund

I bought a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra on May 1, 2026 because they didn’t have the iPhone 17 Pro Max in stock. When I returned on May 4, 2026 to request a refund or exchange, they refused because I didn’t have the original packaging—something that wasn’t clearly emphasized at purchase.
Instead of helping, they pushed me to pay even more to switch phones. Not a great experience. Think twice before buying here.

This was one of the worst retail…

This was one of the worst retail experiences I’ve had at Sharaf DG (Dubai Hills). The salesperson pushed me into buying a product without giving full and honest information. Key details were deliberately left unclear, which feels misleading and unprofessional.

After the purchase, I reached out multiple times for support and clarification, but the response was consistently unhelpful and dismissive. It’s clear that once they’ve made the sale, customer service is no longer a priority.

Be extremely careful when buying from here—ask every possible question and don’t rely on what the sales staff tell you, as you may not get the full picture.

I dont recommend you to buy from them

I dont recommend you to buy from them. They have very bad service. Driver.. Call center agent no follow up for complain. They just look after your money. Bad service.. I just buy microwave and cannot be delivered within 5 days due to their unprofessionals people. I cancelled rather than to wait these people.

Non professional attitude

In shop experience in mirdif city centre is Ok. But with purchase of MacBook I purchased Microsoft word. The salesperson gave me a receipt to follow and activate on line. But when I tried to activate online Microsoft word it asked payment of AED 399 by credit card whereas payment was already made to the store. The customer service very conveniently on phone asked me to go back to the store with MacBook and they will install it for me. As it is so easy to go to Citycentre find the parking and go to the store to resolve their blunder. Very poor service. I will never visit again.

We had a very disappointing experience…

We had a very disappointing experience after purchasing a cooking range (Tornado) from Sharaf DG.

The **sales and billing process were smooth**, but the **delivery and installation were extremely unprofessional**.

The delivery team that came seemed inexperienced and poorly trained. The installation was done very badly, and they left without properly checking the product. After they left, I noticed that the **grills were not fitting properly**, which was not even highlighted by them.

Sharaf DG had also promised **gas cylinder connection**, but the delivery team refused, saying it was “not their responsibility.” After speaking with a supervisor, they agreed but clearly said they wouldn’t take responsibility if anything went wrong — which is unacceptable.

It looks like the installation is outsourced to a third-party team who lack proper knowledge. Unlike other retailers who ensure proper installation, testing, and customer sign-off, this team asked for my ID unnecessarily and left without completing the job.

We had to visit the store again to raise a complaint. They have promised a replacement within 48 hours — currently waiting.

Overall, this was a **very frustrating experience**. Sharaf DG needs to seriously improve their delivery and installation service and ensure trained professionals handle customer installations.

Would not recommend this branch until these issues are fixed.

Worst Company and Support

Worst Company and Support, After selling they are least bothered. Even after 100 calls and Whatsapp chat nothing progresses. Return process is so bad. Never purchase the products from them .

Terrible experience with Sharaf DG

Terrible experience with Sharaf DG. Paid for a new Bosch washing machine at the store on Saturday. The price was 200 AED more than in another store, but they promised faster delivery, on Monday. On Monday they brought a used refurbished machine wrapped in a cling film with a dirt around the rim of the exit tube and tried to convince me that it is new. I refused to accept it and told them to come back with the NEW machine that I paid for. Then spent half of the day on the phone with their customer service who wanted me to write them an explanation of why i refused the used machine. Instead of them writing apologies to me. Then after 3 hours of negotiations they promised the machine will be delivered the next day, on Tuesday. So today is Tuesday, 12:30 pm, we received an sms that the order was cancelled. Then another sms that the delivery is scheduled. Then 3rd sms that the order is cancelled. I again called customer service and they cannot tell me when the machine will be delivered. They said: Maybe today, if the delivery team can.
So they brought me used machine instead of the new, broken the delivery agreement and don’t even bother to rectify their awful mistakes. Buying a wachine machine shouldn’t be that stressful. 2 days ruined, and i still don’t have a machine.

Very Bad after sale service and customer service

I am writing this review regarding my extremely disappointing experience with Sharaf DG, specifically the Dubai Hills Mall branch.

I purchased a Hisense coffee machine from Sharaf DG online, and since then, I have been facing the same recurring issue: ground coffee is not properly directed into the brewing unit and instead falls inside the machine, causing internal buildup, bad odor, insects, and eventually mechanical blockage.

This is clearly a defect.

I have already brought the machine to Sharaf DG service THREE TIMES for the exact same issue. Each time:

The machine was kept for around 15 days I was told that it was “fixed” The problem returned shortly after

Today, during my third visit, I demonstrated the issue in front of your staff and technical team. I clearly showed that I am using the machine correctly. Despite this, your team continued to blame me, claiming that I am not assembling or using the machine properly.

This is unacceptable.

Even more concerning:

The machine was returned to me in a dirty condition from your service center I had submitted it clean Your customer service staff told me that it is MY responsibility to clean the machine even if it comes back dirty

This level of service is unprofessional and disrespectful.

At this point, this is no longer about repair. This is a repeated unresolved defect under warranty.

I am still within the warranty period, and after THREE failed repair attempts for the same issue, I am requesting:

A full replacement OR A refund

If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will escalate this case to Dubai Consumer Protection.

I expect Sharaf DG to take responsibility and provide a proper solution instead of repeatedly returning a defective product and blaming the customer.

Very disappointed with the service and handling of this case.

Hit or miss tbh

Hit or miss tbh. Bought a TV last month and in-store was chill — staff knew what they were talking about and the price was decent.
But when I tried to use the extended warranty on something I bought earlier? Took almost three weeks of back-and-forth. Great selection though, gotta give ’em that.

Do not buy from them! The devices are not new!

I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S25 from SharafDG's website. When delivered, the the box was sealed and it looked fine so I didn't think too much about it. When I unboxed it though, the cable was loosely thrown in the box, the protective foil was already removed from the screen and I could clearly see fingerprints on the frame of the phone.
With all these in mind, I contacted Samsung themselves to see if they can tell me when was the phone first used. After checking with the IMEI code, they confirmed to me the phone was already activated ONE WEEK BEFORE I EVEN PLACED THE ORDER.
So basically SharafDG took a already used device, put it in a box, resealed it and sold it as a brand new device.
The worst part is that I don't know why it was opened in the first place. For all I know they could have installed a tracker or something to collect data in it and then sealed it back.
I contacted them in order to resolve the issue, but their customer support wasn't helpful in the slightest.
The best I can do at this point in time is to warn others and hopefully save them the trouble of going through what I did.

Update as of March 26th.
I was told by SharafDG's customer service that they forwarded my issue to the relevant department (I've been told this before and they did nothing at all).
I will update this review again if they actually do something this time.

• Very Poor Experience – Delays & No Accountability

Sharaf DG failed to meet even the most basic consumer service standards.

For the past 9 days, I was repeatedly given conflicting and inaccurate information regarding stock availability, delivery timelines, and order status. This mismanagement directly caused financial loss, as I missed the opportunity to purchase the product during Eid promotional period elsewhere.

My funds have been retained for 9 days, to be released in an additional 2 days, and refunded in 14 days. (nearly 1 month).

This raises serious concerns regarding compliance with consumer protection standards and fair business practices.

Proceed with caution.

I bought a Phillips TV from DG Sharaf…

I bought a Phillips TV from DG Sharaf in Dubai some months ago and after a few days I complained to the store that the TV was turning itself off and on and the remote wouldn’t work and the screen picture was discoloured and the operating system was slow. They collected the tv and said it was OK, They also sent Phillips engineer who agreed something wasn’t right but they didn’t know the problem. I went back to the store several times and the store would not exchange the faulty TV or offer me a refund. I asked to change to Samsung or LG or similar and I would pay went difference but they said no. The customer service was dreadful and the TV from day one to now, still has issues all the time. I would never buy anything again from DG Sharaf and I would also never recommend this store. They are great when you are spending money but are not interested if you have a problem. I just gave up on the end as I couldn’t afford the time to keep going back to the store to argue. Dreadful people to deal with so please do not shop with this awful retailer!!!!

Order no W5695777- i paid for a mobile and supposed to get it delivered latest by 12 th march 2026...i called their customer service on 12th evening and, an agent Priya informed me that the item is out of stock.. I asked her, then why no one has contacted me and why the amount is deducted from my card... I requested for a call back.. After an hour, another agent Amjad called me and said, hopefully delivery will be done in another two days.. He was very unprofessional and not able to provide any update on the order... I have requested to transfer the call to a manager but he denied saying that wait for some one to call back... So far no update from anyone... I lost complete trust on Sharaf DG now and will be registering a complaint to authorities for justice if no update by tommorrow before noon...

I had a disappointing experience at the Sharaf DG store. Their promotional leaflet clearly showed the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (512GB) priced at AED 3,699. However, when I visited the store, I was informed that the actual price is AED 3,999. Next to the phone, they had placed a printed apology notice stating that the price in the leaflet was incorrect.

This does not appear to be a simple mistake. The same AED 3,699 price is still being shown in their online store leaflet and they are also running paid promotions on Facebook with the same price. If the price was printed incorrectly, it should have been corrected immediately across all channels.

Displaying a lower promotional price to attract customers to the store and then informing them of a higher price upon arrival is very disappointing and unacceptable. Customers should be able to trust the prices shown in official promotions.

This was one of the most frustrating…

This was one of the most frustrating retail experiences I have had. I visited the BurJuman branch within the official exchange period and clearly requested an exchange. Instead of assisting properly, the transaction was processed as a refund without clear communication or proper explanation.

I also sent an email and received no response, which shows a lack of accountability and poor customer support. Customers should not have to chase basic information after following store policy correctly.

I expected a higher level of professionalism, transparency, and service. This experience has seriously affected my trust in the store.
