Fantastic course run by extremely professional and knowledgeable instructors with huge experience.
Material was extremely high quality, and the online learning environment was very well managed - you get a true classroom experience, with personal engagement from the instructors at all times during the day.
Highly recommended - this A2 CoC course is not like some of the other 'online' options out there - this is a REAL course run by REAL instructors who know what they are doing!!

UAV8 is simply the best!

Just completed my excellent training with UAV8 and achieved my A2 conc. Both Nick and Baz are ex military helicopter pilots/instructors and now drone instructors who provided all the necessary training making the final exam far less daunting. It is a fast pacing course but everything is explained in easy to digest sections. I passed on my first attempt and now feel I understand so much more and will remain focused on flying knowledgeably, safely and lawfully. I fully recommend UAV8 to everyone.

I'm not sure you could find people with a wider experience in both aviation and operating drones. First class delivery throughout which was finished off nicely by allowing us to use a multitude of drones. I would recommend this training to anyone regardless of background. I have worked in aviation for 22 years and learnt a huge amount. My thanks to all that delivered on the course.

I was a bit trepidatious about doing the course - being ancient and inexperienced. Others on the course were going on to use their knowledge commercially whilst I am merely a hobby flier.
I need not have worried. Baz and the crew are absolutely excellent and both the classroom and practical training was delivered in a friendly, professional and understanding manner. I came away feeling far more confident and although I have a long way to go I cannot wait to get loads of practice in.
In summary I can highly recommend and would urge anyone wanting to fly a drone for whatever reason to sign up.

Would recommend taking your training with UAV8. Really enjoyable course and well put together from the theory through to the practical. Great location for the practical training also. These boys will have you up to speed come the end of the course. Thanks again.

Nick and Baz are helpful, knowledgeable and excellent teachers. Their A2 CofC course includes a wealth of information, some of which though not strictly necessary for the exam is nonetheless well worth having. Thanks to them I passed with ease. Great value and highly recommended.

I’ve always wanted to learn in depth about the drone area and UAV8 are definitely the ones to go to. Extremely friendly staff and enthusiastic to teach us. I managed to successfully earn my A2 certificate with the fantastic support from the team. Fantastic company as I learnt so much to prepare myself for flying my drone.

I completed both my A2 CofC and did my Drone flying training last week. I've never flown a drone in my life. But both the A2 CofC and the Flight training were delivered in a way that left with confidence to get my own drone and make a business from it.

The A2 CofC was delivered via Zoom, with all the information you need to pass. And I got 100%. As for the Flight training, I enjoyed the experience. 1-1 training with Mark was amazing! He was patient and gave me some great tips and advice that will stay with me. I'll definitely be back, for other courses with UAV8 in the future.

I completed the A2 CofC drone course with UAV8, via Zoom. Both the tutors / instructors were engaging and enthusiastic. Certainly knew their stuff which is only to be expected with a combined approx. 70 years in the aviation industry as both pilots and instructors. Can't recommend UAV8 enough.

Baz, Nick and their team are fantastic at delivering UAS training. We have just had 8 trainees go through, A2cofc, GVC and hands on practical training and the team have delivered a first class week.

Having used these guys for the original Pifco qualification a few years back there was never going to be an alternative to using anyone else for the A2CofC qualification. What you get from these guys are the building blocks to a successful business backed by sound, informative information delivered in an easy to understand manner. It was a joy to be taught by guys that really know their stuff and enjoy their profession. Thank you all!

This was a Fantastic experience I was new to drones and had just completed about 4 hours of flying before deciding to do my A2 CofC. The instruction was second to none and the welcoming slightly informal approach worked brilliantly, the instructors have a wealth of experience and are more than happy to offer advice and give suggestions on all things drones.

I will be booking another course in a few months once I build up a little more experience.

I came to UAV8 with the intention of becoming a UAV pilot. I went away as new NQE but soon became leader in my business, and accomplished far more than I could have ever imagined. I have since had my footage broadcasted on mainstream media and worked covertly for the UK government. I am very proud to say that, I was trained initially through UAV8 and have since returned to do various other courses. Being trained by militarily pilots themselves gives the whole course the most uplifting experience one could have. I will always refer to my training here. And I will always recommend them to anyone.
