Maria della Vecchia
Maria della Vecchia was very professional and went in details to explain me what I can and what I can't do with my account. She was thorough and very helpful. Strongly recommend her!
Grazie

Very untrustworthy for me
Due to Credit Suisse being taken over by UBS I had to migrate my account. With CS I always knew the conditions and I could trust the bank. UBS for me has been very unreliable and untrustworthy on multiple occasions. Customer service was not helpful at all when I stood there not being able to use my card on a weekend. Not being able to pay was a nightmare.
Unprofessional customer service, high fees, unexpected charges
After being a customer of UBS for 6 years, me and my family have left it and we encourage everyone to do the same. High fees and lack of customer service are just some of the reasons. The reason why we finally left is complete lack of accountability of the account managers and ridiculous customer service. Our case was in UBS Stans and Luzern. After almost a year of repeated visits, emails, and calls with our account manager, our issue with unjustified monthly fees remains unresolved to this date. We were promised a family package for CHF 15/month but have been charged CHF 45/month instead (for 2 individual accounts and a joint account). Despite repeated assurances to fix the error, promises were never fulfilled, calls were not returned, and UBS to this date has still not reimbursed the unjustified fees. Customer service has been extremely disappointing, with no accountability or support. There are many other Swiss banks with better service and no fees - consider your options carefully.
A Truly Positive and Informative Experience at UBS
I would like to share my positive experience with UBS. I recently had an appointment with Miss Jeanette Rast, and it was absolutely wonderful. She was highly professional, very well-prepared, and provided me with clear and informative guidance throughout our discussion.
The conversation was not only professional but also very pleasant, and I felt that my questions and concerns were addressed thoroughly. This experience left me with a very positive impression of UBS and strengthened my confidence in your services.
Customer service arrogant
Customer service arrogant, unauthorized account change.
Top!!!!!!!
the bank in my pocket
Because I'm a musician and travel all the time, the cell phone app helps me a lot.
My father had an investment account
My father had an investment account, but did not include a beneficiary. When he died, UBS would NOT accept his will in which he left all possessions to my mother. Instead, they are forcing us to get a small estate affidavit. This is a long, arduous process, and we are still trying to get his funds two years later after his death. Ridiculous!
Poor Customer Service and Excessive Fees
When my husband died, I had to spend time getting several beneficiary accounts transferred over to me. After contacting UBS to get their process started, I didn't hear back for two weeks. It look several calls to finally connect with my account manager and to get him to start the process of transferring. $50 in fees to transfer the account to my name.
After getting the accounts to my name, I decided to transfer the stocks to my account at Fidelity so I could have all of my accounts consolidated. I asked UBS if there were any fees to transfer accounts. I was told, "There is no fee associated with transferring your assets out of UBS unless you wished to sell the shares and wire out the proceeds, which involves a $25 fee."
The day I had the shares transferred out, I was charged a $175 annual maintenance fee, and a $95 transfer fee. An annual maintenance fee was charged despite them having money in my name for less than a month. I have had no success at getting that charge refunded so far. I've dealt with multiple transfers from my husband's accounts, and UBS was the only one who charged any fees to do so. They took over $300 of my money.
I had to request for them to adjust the cost basis, had to ask for data regarding the account. No guidance was offered, but the fees were robust.
There are many options for financial services available. If you have a choice, UBS would not be one I recommend.
Excellent services
Excellent services, never had an issue over 9 years of use. Personal counselors have been attentive and competent.
UBS Switzerland – too big to care for individual customers
The transfer from Credit Suisse to UBS has been a complete nightmare. It’s obvious UBS doesn’t care about its customers at all.
There’s virtually no customer service — getting help is nearly impossible, and everything is drowned in confusion and poor communication.
The mobile banking app is full of bugs and errors. For a bank of this size, it’s unacceptable.
After dealing with this mess, I’ve completely lost trust in UBS and will be switching banks effective immediately. If you value proper service and reliability, look elsewhere.
No moral no respect for the bankers oath
UBS bankers do not respect the bankers oath. They lie to lore you in and then charge you costs that were denied. I explicitly asked to my private banker if costs would apply and she said no to only find out later that the costs were applied. I have it all on recording.
Customer Service
In my opinion, UBS is by far the most disappointing bank I’ve ever dealt with. During my trip to Montreal, both of my credit cards were suddenly blocked, and despite contacting customer service multiple times, I received absolutely no response for over a week.
It’s frustrating and unacceptable that such a large and reputable institution can have such slow and unresponsive customer service. When you’re abroad and relying on your bank to support you in critical moments, this kind of failure is not just inconvenient — it’s deeply unprofessional.
I expected better from UBS, and this experience has seriously damaged my trust in the bank.
Very disappointing support from such a big bank
I expected professional and reliable service from UBS, but my experience has been the opposite. I contacted them multiple times regarding a request and never got a proper answer.
Despite being told it would be followed up, no one ever got back to me. I sent several messages, tried calling, and kept being redirected with no result. Weeks went by with no progress, no transparency, and no accountability.
It’s honestly shocking how careless and slow the process was. For a bank that claims to offer premium service, this was one of the worst support experiences I’ve ever had.
Despicably customer service.
Emailed documents to transfer an account upon a death. Three weeks went by and no outreach from UBS. Upon inquiring, they offered an estate department appointment two more weeks out. Stated someone had called me, but could not get through. No missed calls, no messages and worse yet, not even a second attempt to reach me. I feel that someone isn’t really telling the truth. Upon escalating to a supervisor absolutely no consideration was offered. Absolutely horrific customer service.
you have to run from ubs now
you have to run from ubs now, they are thieves🏃🏃🏃🏃
UBS is a very unprofessional and…
UBS is a very unprofessional and fraudulent bank. They owe me CHF 400 since 2023 and they are still keeping me in circles to not give me my money back. They suspiciously charged one same transaction for the purchase of one single flight ticket with IBERIA via bank transfer, using the same reference and transfer details the 3 times, arguing that I approved that transaction thrice. On what mind does that make sense? If that was an electronic issue of their banking platform, why should I bear the consequences? Other than that they are expensive and the investment fund they recommended me to invest in (sustainable fund) in 2019 is still underperforming... go for a much more cost-effectve bank with a much better customer service and zero fraud if you need to bank in Switzerland
They took money from me knowing im from…
They took money from me knowing im from ukraine. Since i want to leave switzerland i tried to transfer my money from ubs to my foreign account, now they blocked my account due to investigations cause im
from ukraine and may have connection to russia. Im currently in Phuket and they want me to go back to Zurich UBS. Why they opened the account then ? Now they loose the client and i have to i volve my lawyers. I just transfer the money to european country, not to russia or somewhere.
If I could rate a zero
If I could rate a zero, I would.
Almost one month (starting 4/4/2025), transferred from one person to another and unable to pull my son’s money out of his college fund. Ridiculous. They have placed me on hold times (without checking in) of more than ten minutes. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Opening an account
I tried to open an account with ubs after several attempts trying to reach someone I was asked to fill a form in which wasn’t editable eventually when this was finished and sent off they didn’t answer my questions properly and failed to open the account. If this is the kind of service ubs provides to its customers it’s incredibly poor and inefficient.
