Efergy Pro

Efergy Pro, has mostly worked well until 18 July 2025, since that date I no longer have historical data. Several emails and support requests have had no response. At least give me some indication whether you are still in business. My investigations seem to detail that some of the monitoring servers have been retired. Is this the case? I'm not holding my breath for a response, seeing the lack of response to other reviews. So my recommendation is DON'T BUY anything from this company.

Do not use Efergy products

Do not use Efergy products
This used to be so useful and gave great results for monitoring the power and solar in our properties and not its GONE! just turned off so I now have all this montioring equipment as a pile of JUNK.
I would suggest anything to do with Efergy products RUN AWAY and save your money.
What a terrible experience after spending so much and becoming reliant on the information they just turned it off.
I have messaged many times but no reply, do not waste your time they do not respond.

zero support

A few years ago I bought a wireless home energy monitor from Efergy. It worked for a while and then stopped working. I contacted them and they replaced it free of charge. But before long the replacement also stopped working as has every replacement unit they have subsequently sent me. So I tought, maybe the answer is to buy a new one which I did about a year ago. This one has now also stopped working which I reported to them on 27 Februaary. They sent me an email telling me that they were looking into it and would I please be patient and wait while they did so which I did. And I waited and waited for 3 weeks with no response so on 20th March I emailed them again telling them that I had carried out the complicated proceedure for linking the transmitter to the monitor 3 times and although I then got a reading, infortunately it only worked for less than one minutebefore the reading disappeared, never to reappear. BTW I also got another acknowlegement of my complaint, another complaint reference number and a request to be patient. As of today, 25th March, once again I have not heard from them.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY'S ENERGY MONITORS. NOT ONLY DO THEY FAIL AFTER A SHORT TIME BUT YOU WILL GET ZERO SUPPORT FOM THEM. THEIR UK PHONE NUMBER IS 'NOT RECOGNISED' BY BT AND THEIR EUROPE LINE ANSWERS IN SPANISH AND DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH.

Avoid

Avoid. Brought 9 x efergy ego plugs a few years back. They were certainly not the cheapest at the time.

The app to control them was then removed from the Google app store. Lucky i have a backup copy. As it's not updated to android 10+ the screen has weird colours all over, but didn't impact its use.

Now about 3 weeks ago all plugs have been going mad in my router logs. They have only gone and turned off the servers which allows control outside your wifi network. They also control the timers, or at least tell the plugs the time.

So now all timers don't work and can only turn on and off when im at home.

Emails to support are ignored.

If in the UK do not bother with this company.

I ordered a pro unit as a test unit yes PAID for my new company solar business, several days ago from a direct product link, the checkout was via paypal and no notices re issues with a delivery were shown.
After no reply I emailed the company and still no confirmation of the order.
I then put a paypal claim in asking for tracking and dispatch or refund.
I then got a snotty email from the company asking why i had put the claim in DUH!
They said they would dispatch, I emailed back saying fine update paypal and provide tracking they simply refunded effectively confirming there own website statement.

This company clearly doesn't wish to sell to the UK!
I will give credit as they refunded so 1 star.

The moral of this story is if you look on there main webpage they are making all sorts of excuses about why they cant ship to the UK and the info is not shown on the product or checkout pages.

One can only assume sadly and yes I was all for staying in Europe that many European companies remain unhappy and unable to adapt to the new export requirements, frankly pathetic and I can not recommend this company and there loss.

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND FRANKLY AN INSULTING EMAIL.

Recommendation: Stay well away.

Support non-existent when they cant resolve it.
As many have said their support initially seemed ok though when they could not get my device working they never respond. Device now ready for garbage.
A real shame as it was good whilst it lasted but like so many of these companies with cloud based products they lose interest in old customers and effectively shut them off.

Efergy Hub bad experience ever

I bought a Efergy hub and this devices having lot of bugs,

1) Connectivity issue- Device is not connecting to Wi-Fi automatically after power outage, you have to reboot the device in order to work again.
This was escalated to support through there webpage and waited almost two weeks for reply
Finally they accepted through email there is no solution for this and I have to do a manual reboot every time..

2) The consumption is not accurate, Efergy is showing wrong consumption-

The device is showing wrong consumption on web and android app.
I have checked and compared Efergy and other power monitors in market and efergy showing wrong consumption

The company have decided to pull the…

The company have decided to pull the plug on thousands of sold devices - Efergy Ego smart WiFi-enabled sockets. They just updated the app, taking away support for these devices completely.
The new (Google home and Alexa supported) app doesn't support the original WiFi Ego sockets. Why not support the original sockets on the new app. What possible limitations are there? It's an IoT connected switch that has firmware update capabilities. Why alienate your invested user base. Agony.
