GetScanned is a booking platform for private medical scans in the UK. We arrange MRI, Full-Body MRI, CT, ultrasound and X-ray scans at over 200 CQC-registered scanning centres, with appointments usually available within a few days. Private scans need a referral, and most people don't have one. That's the part we handle. Every booking includes a GP consultation, where a doctor reviews your symptoms, confirms which scan is right for you, and issues the referral the scanning centre needs. If you already have a referral from your own GP or a consultant, you can use that instead. Our team coordinates the rest. We confirm your appointment with the centre, explain how to prepare and what to bring, and stay contactable throughout. Your images are read and reported by a consultant radiologist, and your report is typically returned within 3 working days. If you'd like to talk your results through with a doctor afterwards, we can arrange a follow-up GP consultation. One price covers your consultation, referral, scan and report, with nothing added afterwards. Prices vary by scan type, body part and location, and are shown before you book alongside appointment availability. If you find the same scan cheaper at the same clinic, advertised publicly, we'll match the lower price.
