Really bad company

Really bad company. Paid for 1 month and then renewed for 6 months. 1 month into my renewed subscription my account was closed with no reason provided. Emailed customer care and have received no response.

The platform is full of fake profiles and match.com appears to close down accounts for financial gain.

Have issued a chargeback via my credit card issuer and raised a dispute via resolver.

The recent revamp of the website and…

The recent revamp of the website and app has been a disaster. I have to 'click' multiple times after logging in to see the app pages. All my previous 'likes' disappeared. I can't 'suspend' my profile as that option doesn't exist on either the web version or app. I could go on. I've been a loyal member on and off for many years and am extremely disappointed. It's doubtful I'll use the website again.

To be honest its a waste of time.Even when your profile is looked at and liked.You like back and send a message .There is almost always no reply. And when there is the person your talking to un matches after a couple of days.Ive given up.and cancelled my subscription its a waste of money.The sites difficult to navigate.and the notifications dont take you to the person trying to contact you. Its poor and extremely frustrating.

Paid subscription but no access for over 6 days – no response from support

I am a paying Match UK subscriber and for more than 6 days I have been unable to access my account while my subscription remains active (£24.99 charged on 23 February 2026).

I contacted customer support several times and provided all requested verification details (billing postcode, card digits, phone number and account email). My case was acknowledged and assigned Ticket #15225751.

However, despite multiple messages and confirmation that my case was forwarded to the appropriate team, I have still not received any meaningful response or resolution.

At this point I simply need my paid account access restored and confirmation that my existing matches and message history remain preserved.

I hope Match UK will review this case promptly and provide assistance. !!!

Recieved lots of False profiles visits

Recieved lots of False profiles visits, false 'likes' after my membership expired. How do I know, because I bought a month's membership and messaged the so called sender's, they either didn't even reply or have never even looked at my profile! Seems match tries some sneaky tactics to get you to re-new your membership, money grabbing con artists

And the reason I say this I went to match.com hoping maybe to find some connection with a female unfortunately what I got was women just wanting a like a wink none of them had any real intention of wanting anything meaningful other words playing games and also the hefty price you are paying each month it really isn’t worth it

It gets worse every time I try it!

It gets worse every time I try it. Match is an awful website for dating. The women on there simply don't respond. You get the same women looking at your profiles often. However, no matter what you say to them, they won't message you back. Don't waste your time, effort or money on this website!

Please take on board all the negative reviews on this site. They are accurate. Match is not interested in matching people...it is not in their business interest. They want you to continue paying them money for a totally broken service. Their IT dept and customer service is the worst I have come across. Unsubscribed profiles still visible, profiles from Europe!!, your own profile not fully visible unless you pay extra for a boost. This company were previously investigated and fined...nothing has improved since.. they should be publicly shamed and shut down. Don't give them your money!!

Match Non-Existent Customer Services

I registered with Match, created my profile and paid my subscription. When I tried to log in I was informed I was banned. I raised an appeal and was informed the error was on their part and that my account had been re-instated - it hadn‘t. I have tried to raise the issue several times but no response. I can‘t even cancel my subscription as I need to be able to login to access my account!

Uncomfortable for women in my opinion

I'm specifically writing this due to an uncomfortable change by Match.com. Since they "updated" their app if I now don't match with someone these people just keep trying to match again and again which can feel really creepy. Previously if you swipe left on a profile that "liked" you, they couldn't like you again. This has obviously changed as a lot of people keep re-liking me once I've swiped left on it, literally a day or two later. The same people popping up with a like and another message again.
The whole site is glitchy and awkward.
It's actually making me feel uncomfortable being on there. I don't know if the men are re-liking or if Match is making it appear that way.

A well earned one star.

I have only given one star, not because you can't give no stars but because they are worth one star, they have changed the free to view and now its so limited the that its pointless. I am not encouraged to subscribe because of this but less likely to, the suggestions are mostly so far away its pointless, and as my subscription ran out, they took money from my account, which they had done a number of times before even after I cancelled it on my profile page, this time however they wouldn't reimburse me.
I think I'll look elsewhere, match have had enough of money now.

Another scam money-grabber

Couple of fake profiles purporting to be women - phishing for phone numbers. Other than that, as usual, it's impossible connect with anyone genuine without subscribing.

Do not use Match.com web site as you have great difficulty in stopping Auto renewal

I am writing to express my disappointment with the new website that launched recently. Frankly, it is incredibly uninformative and user-unfriendly, making it very difficult to navigate and find the necessary information. The design and layout seem outdated, and overall, it feels like a significant step backwards compared to the previous version.

One of the most frustrating features is the auto-renewal process. It appears that the only way to stop auto-renewal is by deleting my account entirely, which I find to be absolutely unacceptable. It seems unreasonable to require customers to go to such lengths just to manage their subscriptions effectively.

As a result of this poor experience, I have decided to delete my account since it is the only option available to me to stop the auto-renewal charges.I still have quite a few days I paid for but because of your website I do not want to take the chance to stop my auto renewal This entire situation is incredibly frustrating and feels quite unfair.

In my opinion, the old website was far superior in terms of functionality and user experience. I will be sharing my feedback through appropriate review platforms such as Trustpilot to ensure others are aware of these issues.I had to delete my account to stop auto-renewal and lost a week's subscription
