Although it is easy to fit it absolutely does not remove limescale. I have used a filter jug for years and only ever had a small amount of scale in the kettle and no scum on my tea. I fitted this filter and straight away scale started to appear in the kettle and there was scum on my tea. It is totally useless for a hard water area. Also it took over 6 weeks to arrive and came from China.
It makes tap water taste great and I feel much better about drinking it again
The filter was easy to fit with the adaptors supplied it went on in literally minutes , the filter cartridge is very easy to fit , I would advise a tiny wipe of vegetable oil on the bottom o ring just to stop it pinching whilst tightening it ,
the delivery took slightly longer than expected but it wasn’t really an issue I purchased it on the 13th of February and I received it on the 27th of February
It arrived early and was all well packed in one parcel
