Statik360 lead - totally unsafe and I wouldn’t leave it unattended at all!
After only a few weeks of use, the swivel head started to smoke. Luckily we saw it and immediately removed our phone from the head which point it sparked, flashed and sizzled. Even after we removed the lead from the plug it continued to smoke for a good while.
I contacted Statik, sent photos of the damaged lead and asked for a refund.
Their response: Unfortunately, the cost of returning products to our factory is too high, so it is not possible for us to provide you with a return label, and is probably not viable for you as well. In this situation, I can offer you these two options:
1: You keep your previous order and receive a 20% refund for the product.
2: You return the product to our factory and as soon as it arrives, we will fully refund your order, keeping in mind that the cost of the return is entirely the customer's.
Which of the above options would be the best for you?
So overall their product isn’t to be trusted and neither are Statiko.
