It’s unfortunate that the price I was…
It’s unfortunate that the price I was charged was for a key cutting service, but the technician wasn’t able to complete the job because the key was impossible to cut — which I completely understand. However, they still charged the full amount, and I felt the price was high considering no replacement key was actually made. I contacted the company, but they refused to adjust the cost and simply told me to pay the technician.
The technician was lovely guy
They knew about the key as sent a picture, all they did was re programme it, I had the machine but I needed a replacement key which I was quoted that price. Ur reply is not genuine and just fake

Job done in minutes. Today was not a good day for me until Sandeep showed up within 20 minutes and got the job done. I wished I had called up sooner and have not travelled to two different Timpson pods where in the first pod the master was having a day off and in the second Thompson pod the master told me to come back in 3-5 business days as they don't have the correct key components to do the job.

I requested two new car keys because both of my original keys had been stolen during a burglary that is currently under police investigation. I clearly specified that I wanted the stolen keys to be completely deleted/disabled from the system. I was charged £1,750 for this service.
After they made the two new keys and were supposed to deactivate the stolen ones the police recovered the stolen keys three days later. When I brought them home and tried them, the car unlocked immediately. This clearly proves that the stolen keys were NOT deleted or disabled at all.
In other words, they only made new keys but failed to deactivate the old ones, despite charging for a full security reset. This is an extremely serious safety issue, as the thieves could still access the vehicle.
When confronted, they tried to blame the technician they work with, which is completely unacceptable.
I strongly advise everyone to avoid this company. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and misleading.
UPDATE ———Company Response
Following the company’s reply, I would like to clarify that I have written evidence confirming that the stolen keys would be erased from the vehicle system because the modules would be changed, and that everything would work as before.
Based on this assurance, I agreed to proceed and paid £1,750 for the service.
However, when the police later recovered the stolen keys, they were still fully functional and able to unlock the vehicle, which clearly shows that the keys were not deleted as promised.
This was not a minor issue the vehicle had already been stolen and was part of an active police investigation, meaning the failure to disable the stolen keys created a serious ongoing security risk.
I remain open to a fair resolution, including an appropriate partial refund

First, we want to reassure you that all keys supplied by us are covered by warranty. There have been no reported faults with the keys provided in this case, and they were supplied and programmed according to manufacturer specifications.
During the visit, the work was carried out following a full on-site assessment. Initially, key deletion appeared possible; however, further diagnostics showed that permanently removing the stolen keys from the vehicle system would require replacing a control module, a significantly more complex and considerably more expensive procedure. This option and its implications were explained on-site at the time.
Following the assessment carried out by our approved contractor on site, a more cost-effective solution was agreed: supplying and programming new keys at a reduced price instead of proceeding with a full module replacement. The service delivered reflected the solution chosen during the visit.
We understand that situations involving theft are stressful, and recovering the original keys later can understandably change how the situation feels in hindsight. Our aim throughout was to provide clear information and the most practical solution available based on the vehicle’s technical limitations.
We remain committed to transparent advice, professional workmanship, and fair service for every customer.
