First rate!
Delighted with UKDP throughout. Excellent initial survey, diagnosis and recommendations for a solution in quite a complicated situation where we had three houses using our old septic tank. The work was carried out absolutely as specified in the report after the survey, and as detailed at the subsequent pre-works conference - in three days, by a team of three from their associated company Garcon, under Richard Garfield. Mechanical diggers, cement, and the new Sewage Treatment Plant (12person) arrived precisely on time, and despite the appalling weather the team battled through to finish the job. The consequent area of mud after installing the tank was unavoidable: they did their best under very difficult circumstances. The vegetable garden will, we are sure, recover in time!
We were very grateful that UKDP took care of all the paperwork with Building Control, so there was no need for us to do anything apart from sit back while it all happpened! The final inspection took place last week, and we received the Certificate of completion yesterday.
I have to say we were also grateful that the price which UKDP quoted after the initial survey for the whole job was indeed the price for which we were invoiced in the end - there were no hidden extras or add-ons, despite one or two unforeseen snags. Although the price seemed high initially, when shared between the three properties it was in fact very reasonable.
And communication with the office was excellent throughout, thanks to Kevin!
We would happily recommend UKDP for anyone else with an old septic tank trying to fall in line with the 2020 regulations!
