I’m another person constantly cold called by this David, who I’ve now learned is a bot. Today when I said they’d been reported to the TPS the call cut off.

Unfortunately when I reported them last month the TPS came back to me with a very unsatisfactory response that they couldn’t do anything about this company which begs the question as to what is the point of the TPS then?

My only solution is to do away with my landline altogether to get rid of this absolute menace because no matter how many times one tells ‘David’ you’re not interested, or even telling him in very impolite language to not call again he still does. Absolutely infuriating!

I've just received a cold call from "David" offering me some sort of deal which will save me 50% if I replace my windows in the next 12 months. He then started asking me for personal details such as my surname so he could verify my identity and allow the person who would call me within 45 minutes to address me by my name. I said "Hang on, you called me - you should know my name". He ignored this and reverted to what was obviously a script. I decided the call was fishy and hung up. He called me back immediately (twice); I hung up again (twice). I then Googled the company and discovered that "David" is probably an AI bot, and an unwelcome one at that.

There is a friendly guy on the phone who announces himself as David from Windows and Doors Ltd. He starts to ask how are you today before I put the phone down. Not sure whether this is the same as U.K. Windows and Doors as I cannot find a company of the same name on the internet which is not prefixed by U.K.

Anyway it could be a bot and it could be a scam and is very annoying as the times of the phone calls can be inconvenient. I would be interested to hear if there are similar experiences from other people.

Cold calling - I thought that was prohibited

Spammers of the highest order. Continually bombarding me with AI phone calls from many many numbers. Needs the ICO to come down hard.

The cold calling lead generating person ‘David’ is not a human. It is a very convincing call Bot - it can answer a few questions but can’t tell you the ‘area they are working in’ nor what company will ‘call within 45 minutes’. It states it is from Windows & Doors Limited - just an unlisted marketing company that does not do replacement windows - they create leads for glazing companies who are oblivious of the deception by ‘David’. So I think all these bad reviews that are rightly fed up with unsolicited calls from the nicely spoken David are in fact for the wrong company - UK Windows and Doors are not that marketing company.

There are similar bots - one with a Yorkshire womans voice. Ask her ‘are you a robot?’ And she’ll reply ‘no! It is only because I use a prepared script’. But she is certainly not human. All robots, all deception.

Unwanted cold call. Maybe they have got wind of the fact that I am wanting to replace my windows. However, I have already asked three people for quotes and will choose between them.

Continued calls from Windows and doors Ltd. Announcing themselves as David. On TPS service but still get calls.

This company has cold called me multiple times with recorded messages, and are ignoring TPS registration.

Even if I was looking for new windows, I would make a point of having nothing to do with this lot.

Numerous unwanted phone calls. We are with TPS - so they seem to be simply ignoring this. Can a regulator do anything?

cold called my landline by this oufit as soon as I said I was not looking for doors or windows immediate call cut of. Impolite to say the least an and unwelcome cold call waste of my time

Unwanted sales call, even though I am registered with TPS.

Despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service, I'm still getting cold calls from this company. In particular 'David'.

Makes uninvited calls by someone calling himself as 'David' when I belong to TPS, and I'm ex directory, so UK Windows and Doors, you are breaking the law!!!
It would be no stars, if that were possible.
Also reporting to TPS.

I do not need windows or doors and I am listed on TPS yet repeatedly called by 'David'.

The 1 star is because there’s no 0. Does anyone know how to stop them harassing me? It’s cold call after cold call.
