Umai Clothing Reviews 

I bought two hoodies, both very expensive. The quality of the prints were awful. After just one careful wash, the print was completely damaged, it looks really bad.
After writing a review for euch hoodie with 3/5 stars, I now checked out the page if my reviews are now visible. But they are not. More than one year after writing them, they were not published at all. This says everything for me. Stay away from this page!

Customer Support Team took a while to respond - had to follow up two times to even get a response. When I did get a response, I was told that I was basically out of luck - no resolution at all was offered other than "Sorry, your order is too old". Kinda sucks since I actually did intend to be a repeat customer, but knowing that they don't really care about the customer experience means I'm definitely avoiding this place forever. Would not recommend.

Excellent clothing and customer service. None of my designs have faded and shirts are good fit.

Out of all the orders I've made (10 or so) only one had an incorrect size. Issue resolved in the week. No complaints

Why only 4 stars? The promotional offers seem all over the place, sometimes you play an order only for the next day for a better deal to be on. (I guess that's retail though?)

Really poor quality, cut is horrible and you can see at first glance that the drawing is going to fade away in no time as it is merely printed. The only good point is that the customer service is reactive

I bought 2 phone cases; both are poorly printed, not even symmetrical, and the quality is also not that good. The case itself is also not that good I would say it is okay.

Received 1 of my 2 ordered shirts (The second getting stuck in customs - recognise this is not the fault of the seller).

The print design itself it awesome, I'd been looking forward to finally getting a t-shirt from Umai for ages!

Sadly it is very, VERY let down by the print quality.

I've washed the t-shirt twice; once after it arrived, and again after wearing it for the first time. The print is already starting to crack, even though I made sure to wash it at 30c, and iron it at the lowest heat possible. Highly concerned that after another half dozen washes/irons the print will be all but destroyed.

I want to be able to recommend Umai, really, I absolutely love the print styles they have on offer, but unless the print quality VASTLY improves, or the t-shirts are on sale for < £10, I can't at this point in time.

Only buy from here if you're happy to accept the print will be gone within a year of wearing, or you're buying during a dirt-cheap sale, otherwise like me you'll just end up disappointed.

2-Stars purely because I still love the designs and the first shirt arrived very quickly; if I went off print quality alone it would be an obvious 1-Star.

Update - I received the 2nd t-shirt. The print quality on this t-shirt seems much better.

Based on this experience whatever they use for printing works much better on white than black.

Still 2 stars due to the low quality of the print on the black t-shirt. While I may buy some of their t-shirts again in the future, they will be only white ones, and never, ever, ever for retail price; only half price or less. For their retail price I'd expect a t-shirt and print of such quality that I could still wear it in a few years time with no hint of fading.

Bought stuff twice with ~1 year difference
First time the quality of the t-shirt was insane and the prices pretty low for the time.
Second time price basically was basically twice more as expensive and the quality of both the t-shirt and hoodie were pretty low, print wore off after only a few weeks (and ngl having taxes for shipment pay more expensive than the package itself was not cool but not their fault).

Would recommend for design/shipping speed/customer service.
Would not recommend for the quality/price ratio nowadays

Umai staff is horrible

The designs are great, and the shipping is fast. But this has to be the worst print quality that you could get for this price.
I really loved the experience at first shipping to Germany was super fast and the designs look great.
But even after the first month (not wearing those clothes every day) the prints are starting to slowly peel. In comparison to other companies that sell anime prints, these are extremely thin. For that price this is unacceptable.

Shipping was prompt and had detailed tracking info through the Shop app. Bought 4 shirts, all super soft and cute asf. Haven't washed them yet, but graphics don't seem like they'll crack or peel like shirts from Hot Topic, etc.

Well... Since I got a newsletter from them it reminded me leave a review of the scam they pulled off on me. Ordered a t-shirt and never got it at all. Contacted them through email and even through Instagram asking what happened and never got an answer. Figured it was a scam site by the looks of it and left it for what it was. A good reminder and a lesson that anyone can make a website and buy reviews... Anyways I'll leave this one over here. Y'all still owe me a shirt or my money back...

Quality is good, I love the designs. I assume they have a warehouse in the EU too to speed up delivery for us Europeans.

Customer service replaced a shirt gone wrong with no hesitation.

Overall, it was a great experience!

The support team are super sweet and helpful, they have helped me to choose the right sizing (I was looking for an oversized fit) and they respond to any sort of request super fast too! I just got the shirts in the mail (after only two weeks since I've made an order), the fit is just what I wanted. The sizing is true to size, so if you're going for an oversized look, just choose one size bigger than your fitted size. The print is just amazing and the quality of the fabric is awesome and sturdy too. I would definitely be purchasing again from Umai in the future!

I had ordered 5 shirts and somehow DHL lost my package but Barry Smith that works for Umai was super understanding and offered to replace and resend my order! I was deeply impressed and moved by this because not a lot of companies tend to show that type of care or understanding! They will definitely have my business more in the future and highly recommending them to all my friends! Thanks again Barry for being awesome!

Bought the phone case, two t shirts and the pants.

The print quality for the phone cases and T-shirts are terrible. Ive only had my items for a few days and washed my t shirts a few times and the print has already started to tear.

Pants are good thou, favorite pair.

Received package in a timely manner, love the mug.

The quality is soo good and delivery to Slovakia was really really fast c:. Gonna order much more hehe
