Support response time...very slow.
The app seems excellent and will perfectly suit my needs, but the support team takes very long to respond. I submitted questions a week ago and still no reply. I signed up for the card recently but would like to know if my 10 dollar deposit will be refunded if I don't pass the KYC? Furthermore ... what is the anticipated release date for the card in Latin America?

What are these bad reviews, this is a great project! Clearly misunderstandings play a part; especially if you have not done your research.
In fact, I have never had an issue yet...

Not worthy loosing time with their KYC
Not worthy loosing time with their KYC. They do not accept a document, proof of address, in one of the official EU languages!
Wanted from me official translation, notary signed!
Binance did not have a problem to accept it.

Absolute scam
Absolute scam. They'll waste your time taking you though their KYC, then take your deposit, only to then tell you that their card is not available in your country, even though they know this from doing the KYC. Then if you want to get your money back, they'll only give it back in their sh*tcoin (even though you send the money in a stable) that is hardly traded on any legitimate exchange.
And I'm sure that their reply will be that they "list eligible countries on their website". This is also complete garbage. This is listed somewhere in the back of their site on purpose. If you know from the beginning that you cannot service the customer because of their location, notify them before they make the deposit instead of ripping off their funds.
Also, the positive reviews are fake. Just look at their review history.
Stay away

Withdrawal unavailable
Card Service is unavailable in the EU.
Once you deposit your money there is no way to get it back.
Watch out since this is probably a scam.

Garbage service
Garbage service. Complete rip off. Unbanked is a joke. Don’t bother with this Ponzi. They will charge you a fee for being charged a fee. Deposited Bitcoin. It converted to there questionable token and somehow lost 50 dollars.

The service is a total rubbish and total scam.

Unbanked.com is one of the best crypto debit card companies in the cryptoshere, so it's no surprise that people are panicking about losing their investment after learning crypto fluctuates. Most haven’t had to deal with a bear market like this before. However, Unbanked is a very efficient platform and was the first to support visa cards.

Disappointed customer and early investor
Latest update: 17th Jan
Received an reply saying I should reach out to their customer support team and they can confirm I am still suspended, what a waste of time and misleading information.
---------
I was one of the earliest crowdfunding investors and staked the full 145000 UNBNK tokens for the highest tier cashback even though I could not get my hand on the card as I am in the UK and it was only available in the US.
I got banned by them for not passing their screening (no idea why and they couldn't provide a further explanation) and I asked if I can withdraw my token without paying for the burn and gas fee and the answer was no.
And they failed to read my email properly on multiple occasions and just send me canned template replies, poor service throughout and I will sell my share whenever I have an opportunity.

Absolutely Rubbish Service
Absolutely rubbish company. Their site is janky and barely works. It's quite amazing that a financial services company that has raised millions of dollars has such a poor website -- which is the core of their service. Where is all that money going, because it sure isn't going to engineering and product.
Anyway, I went through their KYC process in order to get their virtual debit card, so I could spend some crypto via Apple Pay. The process was easy enough and I passed (passport upload and selfie). I sent a small amount of ETH -- $10 of which is a non-refundable deposit. I figured it was a small price to pay to be able to spend my crypto easily and via my iPhone.
Got my virtual card and everything was good, even did a few test purchases at local stores. Anyway, about 24 hours later, I get a vague email saying my account had in fact failed the KYC process, and my account had been disabled.
I replied asking how this could happen, and if there were any identity documents I could submit to be re-verified. Nope...nothing. They couldn't even tell me why I had suddenly been flagged by their KYC process.
Anyway, since I was forcefully done with the service, I had no option but to pull out my remaining crypto -- which had all been irreversibly converting to their shill coin UNBNK. So, I couldn't send them to my usual wallet.
Quick summary of the experience: I gave them $10 for free, and they told me to pi$$ off as a thank you. Well played, Unbanked Team. Well played.
Excellent idea; pi$$ poor execution.

BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!
BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!
Today I came across unbanked looking for a Crypto Debit card. Before doing anything I fully verified my account. I was then prompted to deposit $10 in order to Activate the card. I deposited 10 USDC and waited 30 minutes, no sign of my deposit. I then proceeded to deposit an ADDITIONAL 20 USDT...5 hours later, nothing is credited.
I wrote to their support and at last the credited my account. With how much you might ask?
$5.13 with the scammiest reason I have ever heard in my life "network fees." When I sent USDT and USDC I ALREADY paid the network fees in ETH, they received a complete $30 in USDT/C and they claim the conversion to their shitcoin has what a 80% fee on the transaction? So I dove deeper into it, and noticed that there is no smart contract at all on the Ethereum blockchain which would cause any network fee, but they are actually just swapping to their shitcoin "UNBNK" internally and LYING that there is a network fee. Thieves.
The plot thickens, after I write to them they gave me the curtesy of adding $10 to my account so I can activate the card only to find out the card is not available in my region. Something that is not stated ANYWHERE, nor do they tell you this AFTER you sign up from a country that is not permitted.
So what is there solution? You can withdraw your money... but of course minus $10 in the account which is "Reserved" and of course, I need to withdraw it in UNBNK shitcoin which I wouldn't even know what to do with as it has 0 trading volume.
Long story short, this is a HUGE Crypto scam, rebrand from another scammy operation.
Oh and one last thing, I will bet anyone 5000 USDC that every single one of the positive reviews here are done by some Indian on a US VPN and are completely fake. Notice they are almost all from US location, and every single one of the positive reviews has only 1 review in his history (which is this one) and they all have super generic names.
If you have a bit of brain do not send these guys a penny.

Scam...
Hi all.
I'll talk about my experience with Unbanked.
In February, I transferred $3,000 from my bank account to invest in bitcoin.
In light of the current bitcoin price decline, I decided to withdraw my funds from Unbanked.
My account had been blocked, much to my surprise.
The support team contacted me and requested my identification documents, which I provided. Following that, they requested a bank statement confirming the deposit of $3,000.
I sent a bank statement on June 6th...
What do you think? The support service then stopped responding to my complaint.
Finally, Unbanked is a scam. If you don't want to lose your money, move on.
P.S.

Hey,
as you suggested I emailed the support team an hour ago at compliance team email address.
I also want to let you know that this is the sixth message I've sent them in a month with no response.
The transaction was not reverted to the sending bank and deposited into my Unbanked balance.
I strongly hope you will respond to me not only on Trustpilot.
So far, my rating has not changed.
P.S.S.

Still no response...

Why was I allowed to make a deposit in…
Why was I allowed to make a deposit in the first place? I got this message AFTER I put about $110 into the account:
We perform screening for all new accounts under BSA/AML regulations pertaining to know your customer and you did not pass this screening. Because of this, we are unable to offer you services on our platform at this time.
Okay great. But when I tried to send my UNBNK coins to Lobstr, they never arrived. Now my account is locked and I can't do anything to try and fix this. All I get is the same email response that looks cut and pasted. I never even used the service and it costed me $110. Guess I'm out of luck... Thanks Unbanked. This is the very reason people have trouble trusting anything to do with cryptocurrency.
Okay, this is who I've been dealing with. Someone who obviously does customer service for Unbanked as a side gig when she's not doing her regular Rocket Science job. If I'm LOCKED OUT of my account, how in the heck am I supposed to submit a ticket to get it fixed, genius? And my funds are MISSING. So are we sure the account is open? Did you even look?
Hi,
No, your account has not been blocked, as soon as you withdraw your funds your account will be closed. If you are unable to access your account, please contact The Customer Support Team by submitting a new ticket for assistance.
Kind Regards,
Kata A.
Compliance Team
Thanks, KATA... Thanks for the link or, email, or phone number to Customer Support. ?????
I know 100 bucks isn't much, and I'm no longer eligible to be a client, but word of mouth is a powerful thing. I'll be on Trust Pilot every day until this is resolved. Count on it.
Update:
So in summary, I NEVER used this account. I was allowed to make an initial deposit of $95.10 before I was even KYC approved. When I was told to take.a hike, my only option was to get my refund in the form of their crappy UNBNK coin that lives on the STELLAR network. After HOURS of searching for a wallet that would take this shitcoin, this is what I have to show for my $95.10 for an account I NEVER used....

WOW!!! THANKS UNBANKED!!! WHERE I COME FROM, THAT'S CALLED STEALING!!!! CAN'T WAIT TO TELL EVERYONE HOW MUCH YOU SUCK!!!

REALLY???? DO YOU EVEN READ THE REVIEWS???? I JUST TOLD YOU CLOWNS THAT I GOT .23 CENTS BACK FOR THE $95 I DEPOSITED!!! I'VE ALREADY WITHDRAWN MY FUNDS. MY GOD... WHO'S RUNNING THIS? CHIMPS? AGAIN... THANKS FOR NOTHING UNBANKED!

Unbanked- An under the radar crypto project with excellent fundamentals and huge potential for growth!!!
Unbanked to me really is the next big thing in the cryptocurrency space. From everything these guys have accomplished from VISA Fast track Enablement partnership and all the white label partners they have and all of the great products they provide like yield farming, bank accounts and debit cards and the utility and ecosystem their creating with the UNBNK token including Cashback rewards and Uniswap Rewards. What I love about unbanked is these guys are really hard working and legit in everything they do as they are SEC Complaint and many crypto projects aren't complaint which makes me believe they will stick around much longer than any other companies out there.

I put money in my account and then the emailed me to say that they where going to keep my money they wernt going to let me have an account any more that was my first deposit they robbed me on the first one if I could get the owner out I'd kick his ass Im in contact with my friends down in Washington now

Yes, it IS a scam!
Yes, it IS a scam. I sent 170 USDT from the exchange to them, paid $5.70 in fees for the transaction at the exchange. Unbanked only credited $120, and only $110 spendable, claiming that the "fees were high". What they put in a very small print is that the Crypto that you will be depositing to them will be converted into UNBNK which is their own useless token/coin that cannot be used anywhere. So you cannot even withdraw the crypto that you originally deposited to them. What a joke, and a scam!
P. S. Now that they posted an answer to my review, I have a suggestion to them: why don’t you put a disclaimer in LARGE font that by converting funds into your useless UNBNK token, people will loose 40% of their funds? Then it would be up to people if they still wanted to transfer crypto to your “amazing” card

anyone who says this is a scam because of the 25$ deposit is not very smart. They do not have the money so do not invest 70% of all your money. 😂 It takes money to make money. This is the best card hands down, stop reporting scam because you have no money and read it before you send your money. Its clear as day. I removed the french from my original review.
