Thank you for your review and your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you and your son are unhappy with our service and our products.
However, I have to point out some of the things you said in your review are not true or fair and are contradicted by the WhatsApp messages between us and the person who contacted us, who we now know to be your son. We never had any contact with you by message or phone - only your son.
Your son called us 26th October 2023 enquiring about a Jean Claude Van Damme figure. We explained that this figure was a pre-order product and we would not have it in stock until January/February 2024.
He requested packaging information which we provided and then tried to negotiate the price with us the next day. We declined his offer as our prices are fixed.
During the days in between his first contact with us, the Van Damme figure pre sold out as we only had 1 available to pre order.
We never agreed to hold the item, as it is our store policy to not hold items without payment. This policy is on each of our pre-order products on our website. All pre-orders on our website are clearly marked as pre-order, available at a future date and have a Frequently Asked Questions guide to help explain Pre Orders and how they work.
A couple of days after our initial contact - 28th Ocotober 2023, your son asked to come to our Showroom to buy the Van Damme figure that he wanted. Our Showroom was booked out for the day he wanted to visit but we offered him an 11am appointment for the next day to view other items he may like. During these messages, we informed him that this figure was now pre-sold out and we were unable to order more from our Supplier.
He was still quite insistent on coming to collect the Van Damme figure that he was interested in and we had to reiterate our store policies on pre orders not being held without payment and also re-explain what a pre order product is and that the now pre sold out Van Damme figure even if it was still available would not be available in store until January/February 2024.
He did not avail of our offer to visit our Showroom the next day.
Our Showroom calendar is available to all customers on our website. We have never denied a customer a visit to our business.
Your son then asked about another pre-order product Freddy Mercury, which was also not available until 2024. We advised your son not to buy it from us, as he appeared to need these pre-order items urgently. Your son did not take our advice and bought it anyway, and confirmed that he was happy to wait for it.
The Freddy Mercury arrived in stock last week, weeks ahead of the estimated arrival date. We packed and shipped it as soon as it arrived and we sent email notifications to the email address on the order.
I appreciate you taking the time to write a review of our company and we are happy to take feedback on board when we can make the customer journey better. In this case, I do not believe the 3 star review reflects the service, products and advice we provided from the start to your son.
Awesome company, uncanny collectables.
I just received my first pre order from uncanny collectables and I am over the moon. Uncanny collectables kept me informed of everything and my prey predator action figure came very well packaged and they sent it the second the got it in stock.
Definitely be shopping here for figures in future. Just finished my diorama now and I am delighted.

First time pre-ordering and will do it again!
I preordered my Retro TMNT van earlier in the year after seeing it on their Instagram and the website was really clear and easy to use. Kim was amazing, as any questions I had were answered promptly and I was kept informed with regular updates on my preorder. Once it arrived to Uncanny Collectibles it was literally out the door to me and I had it two days later. It was really carefully and well packaged so that there wasn’t any shipping damage to the box which is a collectible in itself and I was able to enjoy a huge part of my childhood again. I would highly recommend them and will absolutely purchase from again! Thank you so much it’s awesome!!!!!!!
