Dear sheridan pennell,

We are truly sorry for our silence. We completely understand how stressful and frustrating it must have been to feel ignored while waiting for such a large amount.

We want to confirm that your full refund of £1200 has already successfully arrived in your account. While we failed to reply to your emails promptly, please know we were actively processing your cancellation in the background.

It was our fault for making you worry. If you need the official refund receipt or anything else, we are here for you at support@unifydrive.com. We deeply apologize again for the poor experience.

Many features, but very poor quality.

Bought my ut2 on the kickstarter. Promising feature-rich looking devices but required sticky tape on arrival for the ssd installation (this was actually the suggested fix by unifydrive which should have been my first red flag). Faulty usb ports after just 1 year of very light use, and months of back and forth with the support team and no resolution - the quality just isn't there for the wider market - not good for a backup device, and I wouldn't buy again. Simple hard drive enclosures are a lot cheaper, and far more reliable when there is a lot more that can (and does) go wrong with the ut2.

easy to assemble. Works seamlessly with other devices.

I get anxious putting together new things. Hardware, software must align for ut to work. Unifydrive's device was straightforward to put together. And it has worked continuously and usefully in the months following. The extra room is essential for my video work, making children's stories in Warlpiri

UnifyDrive UT-2 Review – SSD Failures, Data Loss, and Unresponsive Support

Two brand-new SSDs failed in a UnifyDrive UT-2 under very light usage, causing data loss. Support went mostly silent and eventually suggested just removing the SSDs due to “compatibility issues”. No replacement, no refund, and no real explanation, despite multiple requests for a proper resolution.

Very disappointing for a backup device. I would strongly recommend against purchasing products from this company.

Found this devise by chance. I was looking for a mobile device for saving my photos from large CFexpress cards. This is the device, it works well!
