I paid a premium price for these boots. The lining peeled off after four days of use. The glue failed completely.

Customer service is insulting. I sent clear photos of the defect. They refused to help.

They replied with this excuse: "What you’re seeing is not peeling and is completely normal. ... It can look a bit raised when the liner is out of the shell, but this does not affect fit or performance."

This is a lie. The material is separating. They call visible damage "normal" to avoid a warranty claim. They do not care about the quality.

Do not waste your money on Union Binding Company. You will get defective gear. You will get zero support.

Purchased three gift cards on 12/18/25 and I only received one. The second purchased showed on their website as "Confirmed" but I was not issued the gift cards. I went to their website, sent them three messages on separate days, and received a reply that they would get back to me within one business day. It's been over a week, Christmas is around the corner, and I still haven't received the gift cards. It's frustrating. Why don't they have a phone number?

My order was delayed due to an issue on the company’s end. After nearly three weeks and multiple attempts to contact them, I was finally told there was a system error. I confirmed that I still needed the item and explained that I had already canceled two outings because it hadn’t arrived, but communication then stopped. About six days later, the order finally appeared to be shipping.

Overall, communication was poor, my request for expedited shipping was ignored, and the experience was disappointing. I hope the equipment itself performs better than the customer service.

I bought a new directional board and reading the description of Union STR binding I bought them too.

Binding baseplate rises 2/3mm
front and back and the boot heel even worse moving up & down inside the binding.
My weight is 77kg and the ankle strap as tight to block blood circulation…
Nothing to do,
heel rises and baseplate…bleah!!

STR doesn’t worth the money,
you can find cheaper bindings with the same low performance.
