Quality drop, untrained customer service
I used to be a big Unisa fan but my latest experience has put me off the brand entirely unfortunately. I already owned 3 pairs of boots from them, and bought my 4th. This 4th pair was of appallingly poor quality, it was like day and night compared to the former pairs. To me, the previous boots could have been from Russell & Bromley and this was Primark level. They also felt way too big even though I got the same size as for the other 3 pairs (and the model was from the same family of boots). I first assumed it must be a factory error, they classified these boots as size 5 UK when in reality they are size 6 or greater. I reached out to customer support and they asked me the most unhelpful questions (example: "Did you check what shoe size it says on the shoe?"... brilliant idea, hadn't thought of that...). Overall, their customer support was defensive and tried to blame me (I am always amazed at how badly trained some customer service teams are - "attack the customer!" instead of "hey, maybe there's something to this, this is a returning customer and they are pointing something out that is off"). Instead, I ordered the same pair again to compare but it turned out it is this specific model that is just gigantic in cut and poor in quality. So, I returned the second pair I ordered but they refused to refund me, similarly to others who have commented on here, saying the box should have been in impeccable condition - it was not because I did not put the box in a box, I wrapped the shoe box to return the shoes. Now, fair enough, that's their (unusual) policy but refusing to refund and send (another gigantic pair) of boots back to me? Why don't you just charge me 1 Euro for a new box and refund me the rest? Why annoy your customers like this?
