This company screwed so many people…

This company deleted all of their old reviews on google and started over. That should raise major red flags.

If something goes wrong with your project it will be a nightmare trying to get your issue fixed. They only care about trying to screw people over on new sales.

If you sign with this company do not sign any of the first few offers or even the day they come out. They will threaten that you will lose the price but that’s just another one of their lies. They will contact you at a later date with a better offer.

Mike The technician came out this…

Mike The technician came out this morning on my service call on my new windows survey the situation of the windows made a few calls into the office. Got a few ideas. They came up with a solution made all the adjustments that were needed and on the sliders of the windows. They are working great. Very efficient

My new windows

Overall, I was satisfied with my windows. I had 25 windows replaced and installed.
So here's some positives:
1. On time scheduled work.
2. Workers showed professionalism.
3. Work completed quickly in 2days!

Things to improve:
1. Need to give customers heads up.to prep the work by telling them to take any blinds or curtains out or any furnitures. The workers told us day of the project we needed to take all 18 blinds and curtains down.
2. The workers need more floor covers or blankets to cover carpets and wood floors when working inside the house. They had some of our carpets covered but not all the areas where they were working.
3. Please check to see if all old windows parts or any wood from the frames that were cut or taken out be all picked up. I had to pick up few small metals pieces and wood chips and other parts that were fully not cleaned up. Also it would be nice to vacuum any old wood chips or dusts from all the work after windows were installed.

Overall, the guys who installed my windows were friendly, hard working, and did good work.

Great installation —-BUT…..

Installers were on time and did an excellent job. We have had universal windows in the past. The only thing I would recommend to others looking to get windows— is to shop around- I don’t feel like we got the best price for 7 windows after speaking to others who have recently had windows replaced by another local company. Universal windows only gives 3 days to cancel or to “reconsider” from date the contract is signed - and the salesperson does NOT mention that fine point. Felt a bit like we were dealing with a “car salesman”. Very different experience than ten years ago when we used Universal. Again, do your homework and don’t feel like you have to sign anything until you have several quotes to work with.

Windows were installed yesterday

Windows were installed yesterday. Workers were on time and efficient. Took approximately 4 hours to install 8 windows. Windows look good.

My experience with Universal Windows was good. My windows look great and the installers did an excellent job from start to finish. The craftsmanship and framing of the windows look fantastic. The job was done on time as promised. The quality of the windows is good.

I was totally ripped off by this…

I was totally ripped off by this company, I ordered and paid for double hung windows, but instead they installed some cheap slider windows. I contacted them immediately and stayed in constant contact with their supervisor, Micheal Miner. He acknowledged that their sales person Donovan who no longer works there had done something wrong and assured me that this would be taken care of. Instead Micheal Miner lied to me for two months and then decided to do nothing and wouldn’t accept my calls or return any. I called the office and was totally disrespected and hung up on by Sara.I even got an expensive subscription on Linkedln to contact their President, Tang Wong and still didn’t get a response. Recently I spoke with another manager Cindy who told me they would not do anything for me. I asked if I could speak to someone over her and she said that there was no one over her. So I guess her and Micheal miner runs this company and gives everyone else permission to be rude and disrespectful to customers. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

The windows look great and are a huge…

The windows look great and are a huge improvement over our new construction grade windows. The installers where great, the were very considerate, polite, and did a fantastic job. The even showed us a new way to use the windows.

New windows

Thank you for the pleasant installation experience. The installer’s came right on time and they were very polite and professional. They got the job done in a matter of a few hours and the lead installer explained how to operate the windows when the job was completed. I will use Universal Windows Direct in the future.

I ordered all new windows about 20

I ordered all new windows about 20, my whole house. From the beginning it was rough. Sales guys showed up and sold us windows then quit the next week. We had no salesperson the whole time, no questions were answered. They missed multiple windows and ordered multiple wrong sizes and installed multiple wrong. It was a mess from the start. It has been almost a year, and we still haven't fixed anything. I still had to pay in full before they would fix ANYTHING. I do not recommend if you are needing more than 1 or 2 windows. There are so many issues and now some do not close. FIND A DIFFERNT COMPANY.

The window installation process was very smooth but while moving the furniture they made quite a few deep scratches on my brand-new hardwood flooring.

Awful Customer Service

Customer service and communication were incredibly poor. The only reason I give 3 stars is because install crew was friendly and efficient. Could have done a little better job cleaning up after install. Definitely expected more for such an expensive project.

Great people to deal with. Problems arrise from outside contractors.

I had ordered windows under duress from the new property owners in my mobile home park and didn't realize removing blinds would be my resposibility. Nic Silvano and Sam Roberts have resolved my issues to my complete satisfaction. GOD Bless both of you!

Seems as if everyone has had some type…

Seems as if everyone has had some type of disfavorable experience with the company. The salesman was okay BUT the turnaround time, returning of phone calls, answering emails was ridiculous. It took a longer time than when we expected, the installers damaged my light fixtures out front- stepped on them and broke them, walked through my flowers, had window parts in my neighbors yard - in HIS flowers. I was also told they don't install on the weekend which meant I had to take a day off from work! So far we haven't had any issues with the windows directly but the customer service AFTER you sign the contract and the professionalism of the installers needs one star and that's pushing it . Would I buy windows from the company again? - Not sure - but I give everyone a chance. Could have been 5 stars if project was completed by the timeline, answered questions promptly, installers were professional and installation on a weekend like normal company's would I may reconsider but it definitely has to be better customer service than this. Did I contact the company about my experience - no I did not; as it takes to long for someone to return your call.

Terrible customer service

We are returning customers to Universal Windows Direct. Our first experience was during covid when we replaced 8 windows and it was great, aside from the installers not wearing masks despite my requests to do so since I was pregnant. We are currently under contract with them to have 4 more windows replaced. This time around has been terrible and we will not be doing business with them again. Since signing the contract two weeks ago, they have called my husband three different times during the day to set up a measurement appt. We made it clear that he cannot answer his phone during the day due to the nature of his job. He has answered every time and told them to call his wife. My husband verified the phone number with them each time. They state that they have tried to call me but have not. I have no missed calls, no voicemails from them. Now, as I have taken the initiative and called them repeatedly to set up the appointment, they are sending me to a customer service voicemail. They are not returning my messages and they will not connect me with an actual person. My husband was told that this delay in scheduling the measurement is now going to push back the installation date, which is already two months from signing the contact. To be lied to about being contacted, not answering/returning our calls, and then being told there is now going to be a delay is unacceptable.
