I have been on unlockd for over a year…
I have been on unlockd for over a year as a creator. The layout etc is good indeed. They have plenty of payout options which no other platform does. I have withdrawn funds using wire transfer method and crypto so far and though I was always overcharged, I always received the money.
However, their statement that they charge only 15% is nothing but a BIG LIE. They keep not 15% but 35% which is HUGE. I emailed them many times to which they said their Terms and Conditions clearly mention that it is subject to certain conditions. The content I provide is risky so they charge additional 20% as a risk fee. This is absurd. I contacted over 50 other unlockd creators and learned that all of them are facing this issue.
Now their fraud doesn't just end here. They overcharge the subscribers too. Each subscriber has to pay an additional $8 termed as "processing fee". If your subscription costs $5, your subscriber will be charged $13 and you will be given only $3.25. I'm not making baseless claims. I have done my research well. I had so many subscribers throughout the year and all of them faced the same issue. A lot of my subscribers accused me of fraud as they believed I have something to do with this while in reality, I was getting almost nothing. They tell the same story to the subscriber that this processing fee is applied because of risk thing. In light of that, this should happen to only a few creators but even if you subscribe to the top creators, you'll face this issue.
Besides this, they charge on withdrawal of funds too. No other platform does that. On Onlyfans, I withdraw funds using Paxum. If I withdrawn 100 dollars, I will get $100 in my paxum wallet. But in case of unlockd, the medium charges varying rates. For crypto, it has some $10 fee which is again a lie. It charges much more than that. To sum up, subscriber pay an additional $8 fee on every purchase and creators pay 35% of their share to unlockd. In this way, unlockd makes more money than a creator does.
Let's say I have 100 subscribers each month, having a subscription fee of $10. Total revenue should be $1000 and my share is $650.
Let's calculate unlockd's money:
$8 fraudulent processing fee * 100 subscribers = 800
Share from revealed revenue = 350
Total = 1150
So I make 650 while unlockd makes 1150. Now that's for you readers to decide if you should trust unlockd or not.

I subscribed to an account that costed $6,97 but it charged me $16,57. Apparently there are some charges that they charge at the final card step which aren't really mentioned before and once you are at that point you might not even see if you are not aware. Not recommended.

As this was my first experience in the app, it surprised me. The app was very appealing and easy to use, different categories of STARS are available for your preference and for each you can browse through and see what you like. One big plus for the app was it supports the STARS very well (I was in contact with one of them), it was a great experience and an enjoyable time. Unlockd is awesomeness but needs to expand support
It has been a Great experience for me so far being on board unlockd. I'm glad that I made the shift from onlyfans. My payouts are timely and I've been earning pretty well as a creator
I've only run into poor support response whenever I'm need regarding technical errors.
Recently I've been facing content uploaded being in process for longer than usual. Support agent Jane has always been responsive but I don't find her active nowadays on live chat
The main issue is that subscribes particularly from India and Malaysia aren't able to subscribe or purchase paid content using bankcard . I understand the issue has been ongoing for sometime. But what is the outcome? I maybe losing on target audience if the issue is prolonged
Tina is always online but never responded to any of my queries.
I urge unlockd to get responsive support agent who would offer support within 24 hour as claimed

In terms of payments, we have no control over whether the payment will be processed or declined. It is the users bank who is responsible so we suggest you telling your customers to contact their bank to authorise the payment.

Working for free - no reasonable way to get paid
First few months were fine. I was able to receive payouts by Paypal. Not surprisingly Paypal figured out these were adult-oriented transactions and refused to do business. After months of problems trying to get a payout, now they are using tiny disreputable companies who are asking for my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. No way am I giving them that. So basically I'm providing content to Unlockd for free. I'm done.

However, in response we have introduced new payment solutions, as they are also used by companies like OnlyFans and we want to remain competitive with the market in terms of what we offer our creators for payouts. The solution we offer includes many different payment options (depending on your location) such as cash, bank / ACH, as well as prepaid cards and 3rd party mobile wallets. We also support payments in crypto that do not require you to provide your Social Security number if you do not want to. I hope our feedback helps and you decide to continue to benefit from using Unlockd.
