Our aim is to change the mind-set of young people from all backgrounds, all abilities and classes. Our projects are designed to nurture belief, value and develop individuals confidence and self esteem to instill hope. Through our training, support line, response teams and counselling service, we provide a range of mental health service from education, talk therapy and peer support. Being a charity we are investing back into our communities, so behind the scenes we are developing way which allows us to do just this long term such as provide accredited short courses both online and in person.

Mental health first aider.

I have been really engaged in the course right from the start. The course material was relevant and timely, and the delivery was empathetic and thought provoking. Definitely recommend.

Excellent course really enjoyable!

Absolutely loved the first aid for mental health, Will our trainer has exceptional knowledge both personally and professionally. He delivered the course through team discussion and informative slideshow which was really easy to understand yet really informative. Looking forward to working with the team! Thank you Will for such a great week!

Level 2 Mental Health First Aid Course

I thoroughly enjoyed this course and found Will to be professional and attentive, especially considering trigger warnings for learners who may be susceptible to sensitive subjects. The course material was delivered effectively and through detailed and informative slideshows. The staff at Unlock Your You are all very friendly and welcoming, allowing learners to relax and feel comfortable in a group situation. I would highly recommend UYY and would like to thank them for all their help and support.
