Unpakt was fairly simple to use. I honestly was a bit worried about the furniture counts and trying to be as exact as possible to avoid additional charges; but when the movers came, they did not have any issues with the furniture load. The movers were on-time, quick and professional. I will definitely consider Unpakt again in the future.

I needed movers in April of this year, and put the word out. One of the companies that I inquired with is Unpakt, and I rue that day. The initial interaction was fine; their pricing was a bit high and I went with someone else. But it's SIX MONTHS LATER and I'm still getting emails on the regular. Yes, I've moved already. My lease is halfway over. Go away!

It was as described and easy to install

I booked my move through UnPakt and used Velocity moving. They were professional, timely, and got the job done. We had one slight hiccup where my dresser wouldn't fit in the apt, but it was something that was out of their control based on the dimensions of my doorway. Would definitely recommend.

S&D movers did a fabulous job their workers are outstanding I would highly recommend them!

I was unaware that I required a parking permit for loading and unloading, meaning that the move had to be cancled. The unpakt team didn't mention that this may be an issue worth investigating, additionally much of the literature on the site says that you don't need to contact your mover before the move because 'it's all settled'.

I'm extremely frustrated with their service, when I called the customer service rep they said "oh yea, well you should have done that, I know it's not on our website. Nothing we can do sorry".

Not a great experience.

The website experience was excellent. Very easy to use and reliable. The price was decent and easy to see what it would cos per item. I would definitely recommend it.

The process with Unpakt was smooth. However, the movers they sent out were 2:45 minutes late. Broke an antique sewing machine. Then I had problems with them on refunding money I had paid for the items we moved while waiting on the movers to arrive. Hopefully, they will not send that company out for you!

Our recent move with Unpakt was the easiest move experience we've ever had. It was so straightforward and transparent to look for movers, see different quotes, update inventory, and book the service. Paying via credit card and not having to worry about extra charges at the last minute was such a relief. Our movers were polite, professional, and very efficient. I'd use both them and Unpakt for our next move and would definitely recommend to a friend.

Be careful of the 'long carry fees.'

Unpakt did not address my concerns when I wrote them about my problem.

Requested in home consultation of 2 moving. Heard from 1 within 1 hour confirming appointment.
I took afternoon off from work to meet with them.
They never showed up or called.
They called 6 days later to come. I told them not to bother.
I would never use this service for a move, you would be lucky if they show up to move you.
I e-mailed unpakt with my complaint and never heard from them.

I had a last minute move and I was told to use Unpakd. I contracted with a company who was prompt and communicated well, however for what I paid it seemed the company really cut corners (some of my dishes were packed in old Tilapia packaging boxes). They also strapped a mattress to the outside of the truck for a cross country move. Not super professional- but all my stuff made it from point A to Point B. I just wish I actually got what I paid for. As for Unpaked in particular- their website was klunky and crashed often and making adjustments ended up in duplicating my order and almost got my shipment cancelled last minuite. Luckily I was in contat with the moving company to reassure them the move was still on.

All in all it was fine. Just took a lot more effort than what I expected based on the cost.

Not having to deal with calling several moving companies, getting quotes, updating move details etc. Such a great business, highly recommend.

Unpakt is a great website to start planning a move. I can go make a more accurate list of what items I have (with drawings for more visual types), compare several companies' prices for that list, and schedule things like having other people pack for me or when it all gets picked up. I can then also decide if something is best left to the professionals for dismantling/packing or it should just be gotten rid of. I do wish it had more companies listed with it to choose from, although that may also be dependent on your particular move - I was doing cross-country.

I used unpakt mostly because I can't imagine anything more torturous than getting phone quotes from multiple companies. With unpakt you put in exactly what you need to move and it gives you quotes from local moving companies immediately. It's so much faster and easier than the whole phone quote thing it's ridiculous. Prices are about the same too, at least in my area. I would recommend this service to anyone. Moving always sucks, but this makes it suck a tiny bit less.

After an initial scheduling issue, they followed up with me promptly to get me set up with another company. The move went smoothly, and I felt the price was fair.
