I realised after receiving the kit to make a throw that the yarn contains polyamide which sheds microplastics. I emailed Unravelled to try to return the kit. I received no reply. I googled a New Zealand based email, I think for their head office, and received no reply. In the end i returned the yarn including copies of both emails plus a cover letter. That was over a week ago and still no reply.
A decent company may have refused a refund. I don’t know. I do know that a decent company would have acknowledged me. Don’t deal with this company if you care about after sales service. If you care about microplastic be careful about the yarn you purchase.

Great service and lovely personal note when you receive your order. Have purchased two kits and loved the yarn :) and patterns super easy to follow.

I have been inspired to get back into my knitting with simple patterns and the prompt delivery of a project kit with everything you need to complete the garment. Beautiful wool, gorgeous colours and very helpful tips.

I bought the sloth sock knit kit with needles. I loved the wool and the needles. I gifted one to my daughter-in-law and she loved it too. One small suggestion is to include ALL materials needed for the knit kit as I didn't have stitch markers and ended up using safety pins. Different coloured markers would have been more helpful. Also, I couldn't follow the videos for the casting on so did it my usual way but loosely and it worked well. Over all I loved the experience and I am watching the website for more kits to try out.

The kitchen dish cloths are fun and easy to knit. The colours are great and they aren't" just a retty face" They actually work really well as kitchen cloths.

Lovely yarn and colours , really helped build my confidence, the drape of the finished item is just beautiful

I’m loving my washcloth kit. It was exciting to receive the beautifully boxed kit -a present from me to me! The yarn colours are gorgeous and the cotton feels lovely to knit.

I was thrilled to get my kit for the blanket, quick delivery and lovely presentation. It is an enjoyable pattern to knit and the wool is beautiful. It took me about a week, I did however swap the provided needles for a circular needle. just found it easier. Granddaughter has just arrived 12 weeks early so it will be awhile before she gets is enjoy her blanket. Thanks very much. Great product, great service.

I love this beginner friendly kit, the instructions are so easy to follow. I made a practice one using 8 ply merino and wool and turned out it’s perfect for my daughter. Love it!

I have just completed the Betty Jacket and am really pleased with it. I made a little modification to the fullness of the sleeve to allow for a 60+ year old wearing it, but it absolutely was a pleasure to construct. Made it in three days. I will send a photo, WHEN I'VE HAD A HAIRCUT !!!

Really happy with all my purchases from Unravelled. At a dead end right now with rotator cuff injury and only knitting half a dozen rows a day. Not a happy knitter!
But, no complaints about Unravelled or the projects I have undertaken.
