They took the money and run
They sold cheap vacations, then they cancelled the booking last minute with the hotels and never paid for the rooms.
So if you are at the hotel itself in a foreign country you have no choice than book yourself and pay for it again.
Got scam with no money back!
Got scam with no money back!! Complete bs. Out of 600$
My reservation in Sydney from Monday…
My reservation in Sydney from Monday 16th August was cancelled by Sold.com on 6th. Got the "sorry Email" from Sold.com on 11th. Money was never given to hotel. Ponzi scheme is right. I had used them twice before and all good, but it was just a ploy to get good reviews until enough people were sucked in, then pull the plug ! Covid19 excuse is crap. I have began a disputed transaction with my credit card company, so we will wait and see if I get my money back. By the way, one star is one too many, but I could not give none.
I just called my hotel in JP to confirm…
I just called my hotel in JP to confirm my reservation was still valid. They told me that my reservation was still good. They did note the they did receive a call to cancel it but refused because it was non refundable. I had the person put a note under my reservation to DO NOT CANCEL. I told them I would call back to check my reservation again when it’s closer to my date.
As for my second reservation I couldn’t understand the gentleman very well and we didn’t get very far. I said I will call back in a few hours when the new shift arrives. Fingers crossed I get good news like I did on my first reservation. I’m very worried.
UPDATE: Second hotel was cancelled without my knowing. I called my CC and they are crediting my card for the second hotel. They will credit my the other one if indeed it gets cancelled. Very disappointed.
Unsold.com has cancelled my Banff trip…
Unsold.com has cancelled my Banff trip 8 days before I was to go. I lost $366 of my money. Not cool Unsold.com!!!!!
Scammed like everyone else
Scammed like everyone else. Has anyone been successful getting money back?
One star is overrated for this company
One star is overrated for this company. I purchased over 1 1/2 years ago. I had booked reservations and just now get an email from unsold saying all packages are cancelled. You know something is wrong when they don’t have a contact number for customer service. Beware of deals that are to good to be true.
Unsold.com Ceases Trading
Unsold.com Ceases Trading
by John Ollila -Aug 9, 20211 Comment
A LoyaltyLobby reader forwarded us an email that they had received from Unsold.com telling that the company had ceased trading and no future reservations could be honored
Last year, Unsold.com started to heavily push discounted accommodation packages at a significant discount at highly sought-after destinations, but only if you buy a package in advance.
You can access Unsold.com here that has the notice below up on their website (under maintenance):
Bankrupt
+We heard today - 11 aug 21 - that Unsold.com has gone bankrupt and has cancelled all reservations. We heard nothing from Unsold.com but when we tried to confirm our reservations in Banff, Alberta, we were told they had been cancelled. I wonder if there is a class action suit in the process. Please call your credit card company to try to reverse the charges.
Totally fraud
Even I got scammed for my maldives..if any clues to get money back plz suggest.i was supposed to travel on 15 th August..can't US customers take legal action and make efforts to get them punished or make them refund customer amount.

Bruh my trip got canceled without any notice and I can’t contact unsold.com in any way. Website is also down and it doesn’t seem like it’s coming back up.

IT IS SUCH A SHAME THAT YOU CAN'T TRUST…
IT IS SUCH A SHAME THAT YOU CAN'T TRUST ANYONE ANYMORE. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM AND TRYING TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK IS A NIGHTMARE. DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE WHOEVER THEY ARE.......THEY SHOULD BE PUT IN JAIL AT THE LEAST. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED AND UPSET.
I read some reviews and thought that…
I read some reviews and thought that this is a great idea and big money saver. So a couple months ago I booked a weeks stay in Paris for 2022 and was so impressed I booked another one for the following year in Europe. I did not pin down the exact dates at the time but they said just contact us when you are ready to tell us when you will be in Paris next year. So I am trying to reach them but for several weeks their web site says " the site is down for maintenance" Doesn't smell good.
BIG FRAUD
Do not spend your money on this site! They have canceled my reservation without any notice! Of course I lost all of my money!
The travel website to which I booked was unsold.com…
The travel website to which I booked hotel rooms from 8-10 through 8-24 cancelled my reservations without me knowing but took my money anyway. The company advertised on Facebook was called unsold.com. In other words, hadn’t I called up to confirm the reservations I would have been stranded in New York. So I will be cutting a loss for my Yankee and Met tickets and 700 concert tickets. With no place to stay, I will go home today and leave from
Baltimore.
The website is closed and their telephone message says leave a message.
I will get my $268.10 times 2 back I hope. When unsold.com cancelled, they never told or warned me. They were partners of Priceline.com but had two other partners cancel my 14 day reservations (7 nights 8 days)) in two NYC hotels. These partners were agora.com and hotel beds.com. I spoke to the former and they hooked me up with Priceline. It’s a Ponzi scam with the executives of Priceline.com complicit in defrauding travelers like me. Unsold.com fraudsters are scumbags and require criminal charges.
I guess the company took my money and ran
Based on good reviews I saw here and other consumer advocacy websites I purchased a 7 night stay in Dublin, started researching dates and locations. Now, it seems the company has disappeared, web site is down, no replies to phone calls or emails
