Order a filing cabinet and paid for it

Order a filing cabinet and paid for it. I then received an email requesting £70 to deliver it! I then had to cancel and request a refund. Not a great process for placing an order at all!

"We offer FREE delivery on all orders within a 60 mile radius of us at PO10 8QY. Unless it is a Chair, then we offer FREE delivery to anyone within Mainland UK. If you order a product where free delivery does not apply to you then please be prepared to be contacted regarding a shipping cost. Please note, some listings may offer Free Delivery to anyone within Mainland UK, if they do then this will be mentioned in the products description"

Because you ordered a product that does not offer free delivery and you are located 463 miles away from us we were unable to offer you free delivery.

We will be sure to make the shipping process clearer in the future.

The height of the chair is measured from the floor to the middle of the seat which is the correct measurement that you received, unless the customer specifies otherwise.

We are always happy to pay for the return of any products if they are faulty and offer a full refund or exchange. In this case after being evaluated this is not seen as a faulty product or a mistake on our behalf.

Excellent across the board

Used Office Furniture kindly donated more accessible desks and monitor mount arms to our local schools enabling many of our students to work and learn in more comfort. Polite and easy to contact and reliable. We will continue to use this company both personally and at the school we work.

Helpful, communicative and excellent value

Helpful and communicative at order stage, given some rather challenging delivery requirements, and subsequently. I need not have worried - two desks and two screens securely packed on a pallet, with a second pallet very firmly screwed vertically in the middle to provide a rigid structure for transport.
Everything received on time, in good shape, and assembly of the variable height desk mechanism was simple. First desk fully assembled within an hour, but I strongly recommend using an electric screwdriver (three different size hex bits, and a pozidriv head).
Screens with twin monitor arms working perfectly well, and the all-in price was extremely competitive as against buying desks and acreeens from separate sources.
Would happily order again - does anyone want two pallets?

The product was as advertised

The product was as advertised. However, the packaging was poor with it having been ripped open and the items (computer monitors) sticking out. Luckily, nothing was damaged.
