Perfect!! Recommend that.

A really simple and fast service. However
when using UpDoc I have found it more useful to use a laptop as even though I am registered, when using my phone app the system will not accept my mobile number or any mobile number actually which you have to log twice, so there is a problem with that field, which is really frustrating.
Regardless of that blip I would recommend as if you cannot get a GP appointment this service is marvellous!!

Nice and quick. Clear instructions. I would say I requested more of stress related work time off but it only seemed to allow approx 2 weeks.

Honestly such an amazing service, I used this since my GP messed me around telling me they’re going to give me a sick note, only to be told a few days later I need to come in again for another appointment- baring in mind it took me over a week to manage to actually find a slot with my GP. And literally took me maybe 5/10 mins to fill in what I needed to, and I managed to get a response back with my sick note CONFIRMED with exactly what was necessary, within maybe 2 hours of me raising the request. I will admit it would have been nice to have known I’d need to provide my medical history (screenshots or downloads) beforehand so I’m atleast prepared beforehand, so for those who are starting this service might be ideal to make sure you have either the NHS app already, or have your medical history from the GP. But thankfully I already had the app, so maybe took me a further 5/10 minutes just to fill the screenshot everything and send it over.

Also make sure you have some proof of ID!

One suggestion I will say though is, it might be worth offering the ability to upload a video longer than a minute, just because I did find it a bit difficult to talk about my ailments in detail, since I had to quickly summarise everything as quickly as possible, but then again you are meant to type everything in anyway when your writing about your symptoms/issues etc…

But nevertheless the service worked! And I have no complaints, only suggestions :)

I also have a few friends and family members who are doctors, nurses, midwives etc.. and they also confirmed to me the sick note was genuine, it does look a bit different than the NHS but nevertheless it was still legitimate and genuine!!

Scam! Do not go for this. They do not provide the documents they say they do (e.g. a fit note) and if your employer needs an official fit note you'll have paid for nothing and trusted a service that shouldn't be trusted. They also don't respond to emails in a timely manner despite their promise to conclude everything in 12 hours. Do not trust - I'm trying to escalate a complaint to Ombudsmen.

Update:
I’m also not impressed by the response - I provided evidence and thoroughly explained how the service was first deceitful then outside of the deadline I was allowed and the deadline (SLA) they gave on their website.

I’m having to dispute the charge on my bank card now. They may be wordy in their response but I stand by my review: no company, service of product should be this misleading.

Simply avoid if you want to make sure you get the right products for your needs because Updoc is not only a let down, it will put you in a situation where you’re running out of options.
