I had a regular payment due on May 20, 2026. Knowing I needed to adjust my schedule, I logged into their website a full five days early on May 15 and successfully moved the due date to May 22.
Despite their system confirming the change, they completely ignored it. On May 20, they pulled the full payment from my account anyway. Then, today, on May 22, they hit my account a second time for the exact same payment.
Their platform has a dangerous disconnect between what it tells the user and what it actually executes with your money. If you value your financial security and accurate accounting, stay far away from their auto-pay systems.

Horrible Company and Customer Service
First, my account was suspended with 20k. I called Customer Service (CS) to ask why. They said they didn't know. After asking why they couldn't answer my question, I was told it was in a special dept due to suspicious activity. I asked to speak to them and was told they do not take calls. I asked to speak to a manager and was told she could transfer me to one, but that they truly would tell me the same thing. It's been 10 months, and I still have not received an answer or my money. I filed with CFBP and the Texas State Attorney General. I am still in limbo. They are not the bank; they use a third-party bank and act as the front end. Beware!!!!

Extremely laborious loan process
Extremely laborious loan process ! The worst I've ever seen. Loan officers have an almost neverending list of documentation that you need to give them. W2,check stubs, employment verification, drivers license, birth certificate, 2 years tax returns, 2 years tax transcripts, social security card, another tax form called w4056, credit check, & lastly, they want you to make a selfie video pledging you understand the loan terms! Unbelievable process. Crazy high interest rates & process fees. There are other loan companies. Do yourself a favor & leave Upgrade behind.
