I ordered an R-PRO rig from Upshift about a year or so ago and it's been absolutely incredible! Delivery was fast and communication was super detailed and helped me understand exactly what was going on.

Price was amazing for the quality you get too (the same as any other 80x40 rig you can order online if not better), you get tons of spare parts to the point where I've never needed to order anything else online, you get super detailed instructions on how to put everything together which allowed a first timer like me to set it all up perfectly, and they were super responsive and updated really quickly via email to the questions I had!

If you're in the UK looking for a sim rig I would highly highly highly recommend these guys value for money wise, just amazing stuff with zero flex and I'll be using this for decades to come for sure.

Purchased the R-Max rig, what a behemoth the rig is, delivered in 48hrs. Unfortunately didnt come with instructions but can be had from Jonathan but was pretty self explanatory to assemble without. Also a massive help with obtaining the integrated monitor stand. Was a slight delay with email responses but was explained they were very busy at the time and things were sorted out promptly. Very pleased with the rig!

The team are fantastic and very fast to respond. They confirmed delivery dates with me and made sure I was going to be in as other wise it would require redelivering. After confirmation I got 3 tracking numbers for next day delivery along with a pdf for assembly instructions.
The rig is clearly built by a team that have had to assemble heavy items before. The rig arrived in 3 separate box’s. One for the profiles, one for hardware and another for the wheel and pedal plate. This could cause issues with delivery firms but its worth it. I’m not a spring chicken anymore and would have needed to unpack it by the front door if this wasn’t for the forethought from Upshift.
When unpacking I found the cuts to be precise and a surprising lack of burr’s meaning I didn’t cut my self-handling the raw metal edges. Following the instructions I laid the profiles out and basically played with adult lego until it was constructed. The only issue I had was that I put bolts in the wrong order. The main upright angle brackets anent slotted (like the rest) so you have to get one bolt all the way in before the other. This was a my excitement/desire to rough assemble and adjust issue.
I had ample hardware and with all bolts having spring washers and flat washers to ensure they don’t come loose over time. The T slot nuts are also spring loaded, I didn’t think much of it at the time but when I wanted to add my own parts to the rig not having them made me realise how good they are. Theres nothing more frustrating than trying to fish a bolt through something on an upright while holding the nut in place behind what I was trying to attach too. The supplied allen keys are of high quality and now hold a firm place alongside my Halfords advance allen set (great help because I lost the 5mm from that set a while back)
I had to deviate slightly from the instructions due to already having my own seat the biggest issue with this was having to take the high-quality plastic endcaps off that I put on without thinking due to my excitement.
I’m 6ft mostly in the legs and running a Simucube active pedal, this combo tied with my seat meant I had to move my seat back a bit further than probably designed. I was concerned about the weight shifting meaning that it might tip but I’m a week in and 60 hours seat time and it’s not been an issue at all. the wheel height with my Moza r5 has been perfect.
For £300 delivered good luck finding another rig with this level of thought and support. I tried to spec my own and couldn’t match this price.

Outstanding experience from start to finish. Jonathan was incredibly helpful throughout, answering all my questions quickly and providing clear, practical advice to make sure everything would fit and work properly with my setup. Delivery was fast, well-organised, and exactly as promised, with tracking and assembly information provided in advance.

The R-PRO rig, GTS bucket seat, and integrated monitor stand are all excellent quality, solid, and thoughtfully designed. Everything bolted straight on with no issues, and the adjustability made it easy to dial in a comfortable driving position. You can tell these products are built by people who actually understand sim racing.

Customer service really sets Upshift apart. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely keen to help rather than just sell. I would not hesitate to buy from them again and highly recommend them to anyone building or upgrading a sim rig.

Don’t normally write reviews like this but I had to. The customer service is top notch any questions u have Johnathan is always going above and beyond to and giving you the right advice u need. Couldn’t have asked for anymore, absolutely the best about for your sim racing needs.

Brilliant service from Jonny getting back to my queries (very quick replies) I had before purchasing, made the purchase Wednesday late afternoon and arrived early Friday morning. Very thorough instructions were sent over which made it super easy to build the R-MAX rig. Build quality is unbelievable and beyond sturdy once assembled. Jonny went above and beyond and sent out a some spare nuts and screws to install my pedals to the plate and some extra screws for the seat I was using. Overall absolutely incredible customer service and product, Easy 5 stars!

Honestly, I can’t even begin to describe how impressed both my partner and I are with Upshift.

My partner needed a new rig and was initially considering two other companies, both of which would have cost almost double. He then came across Upshift, and the rigs were not only almost identical in design and quality, but far better priced. The value for money alone made Upshift stand out straight away.

From the moment we placed the order, the experience became even more impressive. Jonathan emailed me the very next day to discuss delivery options and make sure everything suited our needs. His communication felt genuinely personal rather than overly formal or automated. He was incredibly flexible, arranging for the main rig to be delivered on one day and the seat on another, exactly as I requested.

The first delivery arrived precisely as planned, with tracking details sent the day before. When I contacted Jonathan again the day before the seat delivery just to double-check everything, he replied within a couple of hours, confirming tracking details and reassuring me that everything was on schedule, and it was.

We didn’t need any help building the rig itself, but when it came to assembling the seat, we needed a bit of guidance. At around 8:30pm, I visited the Upshift website hoping to find a PDF, but couldn’t locate one. I noticed they had a live chat and decided to give it a try, not expecting to speak to an actual person at that time of night. To my surprise, Jonny responded immediately. He sent over the PDF straight away and, about 15 minutes later, when we had another (slightly silly) question, he was still there and more than happy to help. He was friendly, informative, and incredibly approachable throughout.

I can honestly say I’ve never experienced customer service like this. It was outstanding from start to finish.

As for the rig itself, it is absolutely beautiful. The quality is exceptional, and we couldn’t be happier with it. We had nothing to worry about ordering through Upshift, and I’m genuinely glad we did, as I don’t think any other company could have matched this experience.

Please do not hesitate to purchase your gaming rig from Upshift. It was an absolute dream from beginning to end. Jonathan, we can’t thank you enough.

Rig is perfect for the money and as easy to set up as possible. The main positive of upshift is there absolutely incredible customer service team who go above and beyond and reply asap. Will definitely be shopping with them again!

Bought a racing rig for my son on Christmas Eve Eve after being badly let down by another company’s carrier service and I honestly thought the whole thing was going to be a disaster.
Jonathan stepped in and completely turned the situation around. From the moment we spoke he was calm, knowledgeable and genuinely wanted to help. He gave clear guidance, explained the options properly and did everything he could to make sure the rig arrived in time.

Honestly Brilliant

This company should be so much bigger than they are. The rig they provided to me was no only excellent value but also great quality, I wouldnt hesitate the reccomend this company to anyone.

I also had the opportunity to chat with the customer service team about some questions and suggestions and they always replied within 24 hours. Really would reccomend over some of the larger sim racing companies.

I hope to see upshift expand their range and area of operation.

The quality of Upshift products is top notch and so it the delivery. The Pro-R rig is plenty strong to take me a 130kg guy using a 25Nm wheel. It's also not a monster in the room, which had concerned me with some of the chunky profiles. The customer service is second to none. They held my hand when I had questions and gave quick support every time.

Excellent product offerings at a fraction of the price of competitors, paired with Jonathan's excellent customer service skills is a combination I thought would be way to good to be true, but I was proven wrong.

In this day and age companies like Upshift are rare!

Bought the R-Pro rig with the RS1 seat. Both are great, the rig is super stable and the seat is very comfortable. Excellent, clear assembly instructions. Fitting the seat is fiddly but you get there in the end. About 10 hours in with this setup and really enjoying it.
