What a pathetic customer service team.
What a pathetic customer service team.
I couldn't upload ID,dispite several requests to reset my account, i got standard customer service replies, that didn't address what i was asking for. I then advised them i would cancel my account and restart my application, they just responded with generic email saying we wont be refunding me the fee. Still they have not taken the time to read my very simple and reasonable email, to reset my account. Soley focused on not giving a refund.

Upwork is a good platform to start and…
Upwork is a good platform to start and grow a freelancing career, especially for beginners. It offers many job opportunities across different industries.
However, recently it feels like the platform focuses more on revenue than supporting freelancers. The Connects system has become expensive, and in many cases, I end up spending more on Connects than what I actually earn. This makes it difficult for new and small freelancers to compete and stay profitable.
Overall, Upwork is still useful, but the rising cost of Connects is a big challenge and needs improvement.
