Any SME business owner will understand as you grow you will suffer from Cash Flow, Overtrading, Growing pains call it what you like.
But the fact is you only have limited options to fund that 'biggest yet' contract you've just won.
options are;
A) Go speak to the bank and nail yourself to the mast with PGs and be answerable to the man at the bank who's never been in business but he did go to uni!
B) Apply to the Bank of Family
C) Lock into to the Hamster Wheel called factoring.
Mmm non of which suits you because once you've delivered this contract it's smooth sailing anyway!

I've found the perfect no cost, no commitment solution; Urica

You choose which Clients & which invoices you divert via Urica. Then once your client 'approves' your invoices on the urica portal you get paid 100% of the invoice value including the VAT less the calculated % fee which is based on the agreed terms you have with your client.
You negotiate your own % fee charge but in simple round numbers the Bank of family would struggle to compete!
To make it clear I have no connection or interest in Urica other than I'm sick of being shafted by banks, having the worry of will I get paid and on time. Go and have a look at Urica I say.. I did!!

We first contacted URICA at 14.51 on Monday 23rd October.
We received our login details to start trading at 18.47 on Friday 27th October. We thought this was an outstanding result.
We found the company a league ahead of anything else we tried. Our point of contact was well informed, proactive and we could not fault the level of personal service. He helped us through the paperwork which appeared effortless yet rigorous.

I started my business importing product from China we had no Urica then...wish we had. Without Urica l doubt if we would have succeeded. They are so friendly understanding and flexible. If you use what they offer and understand cash flow they are such a major tool in your business armoury, a must have in my opinion. Cannot recommend them highly enough,

URICA provides an impeccable service that has grown to become an invaluable part of our business. The service allows us to far better manage our cash flow, mitigate risk associated with customers, be competitive with payment terms and allows us to trade at a much higher capacity verses, working with limited capital or sourcing alternative and expensive finance options with banks.
URICA is a game changer.

Using Urica is an easy process, it really helps with cash flow and is an all round excellent service.

Urica have really helped us in several ways, we deal with Local Authorities mostly and getting paid is always very slow. Also we are a small organisation so credit control with any non governmental customers has been tough for us but with Urica we can just outsource it all.
Urica was so easy to set up and there is always someone at the end of a phone if you have a problem.
The Urica model can really help the SME sector in the UK which has suffered from a lack of support from the mainstream banks.
I hope Urica goes from strength to strength. I admire their ethos greatly.
I just wish they would also move into lending!!!!

Great staff, very very helpful! Excellent services at good rates - this has been of massive benefit to our company over recent months and we look forwards to now using Urica long term.

Once set up, sending invoices is really simple and quick each time as it stores information so no need to input names, addresses etc every time. Having spent a considerable amount of time researching and asking for feedback from other business owners, Urica was always at the top of the list. Unfortunately, some of our clients could not be funded so we had to go with another provider, although we kept in contact with the team to know when things changed.

After a few months, we got the message to say that they could fund all our clients and whilst we were happy with our other provider the cost difference and the feedback about Urica meant we had to see if it was true.

We worked closely with a Senior Trader named Lloyd, who couldn't do enough to make the transition as smooth as possible. I really enjoyed how he worked in partnership with us and our clients, at times speaking with finance departments and buyers to represent how much benefit our relationship with Urica can support our clients. He also knew when to step back and for us to maintain and continue to build the relationship with our clients.

We were hesitant at first as our old provider was working, although we are now so pleased that we have moved over, not only for improved rates but also the service and how easy the platform is to use.

Imagine some one placing and large order with your company, on one hand great on the other are you going to be in a overtrading position?

Lead time and production build times can mean your company as ours was would be under water or vulnerable until they paid, and what if they did not pay?

Ulrica revolutionise the way we do business around the world, we use it to finance our dealers. Instead of us having to ask for large deposits to enable to part fund the production build, we simply get them to place the order Via Urica and we get the money in our accounts with in two days. They get months to pay and we usually have shipped by the time they pay for the goods.

They get the same price as we normally charge we pay a very reasonable commission to Urica and have no worries or cash flow issues every ones a winner. it even circumnavigates the risk of them cancelling the order or not paying.

They are fully credit checked by Urica which again takes the pressure off of us doing the checking and it can take as little as a few days, but in volatile markets like Mexico and South Africa it can take a bit longer but once approved the flood gates open. (non of our dealers have ever had a bad experience they all said it was simple)

Urica staff are excellent and really go the distance for you. My only concern was they are that good they would put the prices up, but over the 3 years we have dealt with them they have gone down and terms have got better.

Over drafts and factoring may work but the cost is greater and they are a real hassle if the client does not pay. Ulrica takes care of these issues and for us are the best solution we have found to easing cash flow, expanding market penetration with out worrying about how we would fund that large order.

A friend of mine in a business also exporting to overseas markets told me about them as he used them and new we were suffering with cash flow, I paid for dinner that night and it was the best money I ever spent.

I love Urica. It offers one of the best solutions to cashflow problems I have come across. It is quick and easy and also amazingly low cost.
I find Urica's staff very keen to assist and super friendly and efficient.

The only time they can't help is where our customers do not reach Urica's financial vetting procedures, but the majority are cleared and approved within minutes.

The only real problem we have, is engaging our customers to see how easy it is for them. This is not Urica's problem, but a problem with finance departments taking the time to understand just how easy it is, and what savings it can provide for them.
