Not a lot of produce in the box.
The only reason I gave 3 stars was because the amount of vegetables in my box wasn't worth the amount paid. The delivery was amazing. I forgot to put my cooler out and they left an ice pack in the bag which I appreciated.

Easy process but bread not so fresh
The whole process is great-easy website format and quick delivery, but the bread we got the first week was very dry. It didn’t seem fresh at all. When I opened it to have the first slice, it felt and tasted like it was week old bread.

I have no problem with any of the…
I have no problem with any of the products. They are all great. I do have issues with the website. It is better than the old one, but still makes it very difficult to halt orders, especially beyond 1 week. These recurring orders are geared toward multi-person households, not the single. I just can't eat all this dairy or any of the other products in a week.

I have left a previous review of the modern milkman and my opinions are again concerning to me. I received yogurt from a local Connecticut company at my last delivery on Thursday. I opened one of them up this morning today Monday and it has mold on top. this is the second time this has happened. I have reached out to the company that supplied the yogurt to modern milkman, and it appears that modern milkman buys their product from an authorized distributor, which is fine except that there’s obviously a problem because the yogurt is arriving at my home with mold on it, I am no longer going to be doing business with the modern milkman. This experience was not what I had expected. You cannot reach out to anybody in this country. Let alone the state because I believe they’re using a third-party vendor from another country they can’t truly empathize with you and they can’t address any direct questions. Everything looks like it’s from a Q card. I did sign up for the round which is the modern milkman‘s program to get a reduced cost on weekly deliveries. I did ask them to refund the annual fee of $220 approximately and I also asked them to prorate it because I did use it for about a month. They refuse to do either and now they don’t reply at all beware this company might’ve started out with good intentions. It’s a local dairy, but the company itself is not what you think perhaps the local dairy is and you might be better off going up to Oak Ridge in Ellington and buying your products directly but for me that’s too far from my home. I will go back to buying my products locally and I will not do business with the modern milkman, and I will make sure that I convey that to the people that I know.

The milk is cold and delicious. The yogurt tasty. The oj is not acidic. The bread perfection. I love that I can get local milk in glass bottles and not have to drag them home from a store.

The shop has items visible and unavailable in my area. There is limited things to choose from making it not worth repeat buying every week. The stuff that is available are things I do not use enough to warrant spending the money on it weekly.

The concept is great . Products seem good enough but first delivery and the guy doesn’t know eggs shouldn’t be left out in 90 degree weather and couldn’t be bothered putting them in my cooler . Customer service is awful!!! Yall didn’t even try and do anything to make it right and we’re fine with me canceling.
