I would not trust GEO with another payment or an important deadline — $134 paid, service still unresolved after more than two years
If I could give it zero stars, I would!!!
I paid GEO Credential Services $134 on June 29, 2024, for an evaluation of my Greek university degree, including translation and shipping. Their written confirmation stated a turnaround of 9–11 business days once all required documents were submitted. They also told me that the documents I had supplied would be sufficient.
I trusted that timeframe because I needed the documents for a deadline. By September 2024, I had not received the evaluation, and my deadline had already passed.
Only after I contacted them did they send me an electronic report, claiming that they had previously notified me in July. I had not received that notification.
The report raised concerns about how my four-year university program and qualification were described. I identified the disputed wording and inconsistent terminology in writing. As a speaker reviewing documents concerning my own degree, I found the experience deeply disappointing and lost confidence in the accuracy of their work.
GEO acknowledged my correction request and said their team would review it. They explained that they would mail the documents after I approved the corrected version. I never received a corrected version to approve, and I never received the hard-copy documents. I stopped following up after their final reply, which left the promised correction process unresolved.
As of October 3, 2026, more than two years after payment, this remains unresolved. An electronic report containing wording I disputed, received after my deadline, did not fulfill the purpose for which I paid.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise prospective customers not to send this company money or entrust it with important academic documents. If accuracy, reliable delivery, and meaningful follow-through matter to you, I would look elsewhere. I would not use GEO again.
GEO Credential Services: I am publicly requesting a full refund of my $134. Please have a manager review my original order
Customers should not have to repeatedly chase a paid service, identify problems themselves, and then remain without the corrected documents they were promised.
**Do not use this company.**
**Do not use this company.** I submitted all the paperwork they requested, it was approved, and I was moved to the next step. They later claimed the paperwork was incorrect and refused to help me or provide a refund. I paid nearly $200 and they have now stopped responding. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. its been over 2 months of emailing calling and no response or refund
SCAM ALERT
SCAM ALERT. Do not trust these people with your important documents. I paid an extra $75 for "Rush" 1 Business Day Translation and I received the documents with my name misspelled, I immediately asked them to correct the spelling of my name, called and sent multiple messages and I keep getting responses from ai agents. because of them I have missed a very important appointment and now I have to pay another $300 for a legit company to translate my papers. I have attached a screenshot of the ai messages that I keep getting from them. Please beware!
