Tried this out and I tell you guys SAVE your money and don't get headaches with this crappy service. I advise you do not choose this service even if you most need it. Just look for an alternative. Anyway, JUST AVOID IT. They are not scammers but they absolute crap. Do not use!!!!!!!!!!

Would not recommend - high fees and poor transparency
High fees and poor transparency about retailers meant this service didn't work for me. I loaded some money onto the system, had to pay for the loading fee and membership totalling $35. I then tried to use the card on a few retailers (including Microsoft which is listed as supported) and the card was declined every time. I was unable to use the card for anything so then tried to close my account and the support team told me that the charges so far were non-refundable and I had to pay another $11 to get the refund. This means I paid $46 for a service that did not work and I have no way of getting that money back. Would not recommend.

I loaded my account with $65, I paid about $20 in fees. It took about 3 days to get it approved.
Had to give my ID which was instantly approved, that part was easy. Waiting at least 3 days to get it all confirmed was the hard part.
I was worried I was scammed, but it's not a scam. Customer service isn't bad, replies quite quickly and all in all it's a good service.

You only think it is a scam because you didn't read the FAQs and explore the website. So it is not their fault if you are too stupid to even check out the simple information they have on their website. You blame US Unlocked for something that is clearly stated on their website? Buyer beware - SO MANY HOOPS
So, I need to buy items from the US and get it shipped to South Africa, Merchant does not accept my credit cards as payment. Went and got an account with Usunlocked. Now when I want to use it, I suddenly have to make use of their approved shipping forwarders (I have a MyUS account already). So just be warned, check with them first as to which forwarders they deem as approved. This will now cost me double for shipping items from two different shipping forwarders. NOT Happy! So irritated currently, tried to get the card linked to my Paypal account...and...NO luck. Now the card has been put under investigation "due to suspicious activity". Plus when I check on the activity log, it seems the card is not set up properly as it shows "Card Closed" for each and every transaction. Not recommended, as you also need to jump through so many hoops to get this all in place - Shipito does not provide a number for you to use as part of the delivery address, then you need a VPN (it seems) and don't get me started on setting the card up and funding it...hooo boy! Now to top it all of the card doesn't even seem to work. ALL I wanted was a card to use in the USA to purchase items from stores who decline my SA based cards.

It's not a scam. Actually it works quite well: if you need an US virtual card in case a site doesn't accept yours.
However, the fees are simply abusive. For that simple thing, I remove 3 stars from the review. I hope a competitor enters the market, so UsUnlocked gets destroyed.
I give 1 star back, for the shipito service, it's amazing for sending things that are only shipped to the US, although also it is brutally expensive.
