Customer service is very poor, they never respond within their SLA's. Have been waiting 3 weeks just to acknowledge my emails and still no response after 3 weeks, even the customer complaint email has not responded, which tells you everything.

Apart from taking 11 days to respond to my very simple query i.e. please supply a pdf link for some charges,
the eventual response did not contain a link but but a cut and paste table of the charges applicable. My solution? , why not add the charges document to the Document Library and save us both a lot of wasted time and effort. A poor company that charges outrageous amounts for dreadful and incomplete service. A very unhappy customer.

Utmost international are incredibly slow to respond and frequently get key information wrong, costing clients time and money.
Being on the IoM, not in the UK, means the heavily bureaucratic requirements for paper and wet signatures on withdrawals take many weeks. Phone calls to them cost a fortune.
Avoid if you're in the UK and speed or clarity are important to you.

Rather than staying on hold for however long, I requested a call back and received one within 15 minutes from Zain. Zain was able to swiftly help with my request and send through the documents needed, great customer service.

UTMOST hides behind its partners to mask the utterly unprofessional and unacceptable way it treats its clients. It also relies on buried fine‑print terms that were NEVER disclosed to customers by its own representatives. Overall, it is a company that no one should ever consider working with.

Took me nearly 6 weeks to receive the proceeds of a partial liquidation of investments, from the day - mind you - that the funds had become available for release (that is, after the securities had been sold and the proceeds deposited into my Utmost cash account). After providing the required KYC documents, Utmost sat on it and it was only after a couple of weeks that they notified me that actually the KYC procedures had changed and they now needed to be carried through a web authenticator ID. One wonders why I was not told that on day one. Thereafter, when once again the process fell into complete silence, I began chasing them by phone, only to receive repeated assurances that the request would be "escalated" which however resulted in no tangible progress at all. Evidently their perception of urgency is very different from mine. At some point, after approaching Customer Service, I was assigned a Ticket Reference (890410-T) with a promise of prompt processing of the wire as well as an explanation for the reason for the delay to date. Neither of them happened, and I received zero feedback or any progress update until the funds finally and suddenly showed up in my account. several days later. The inefficiency and neglect was not just frustrating by mindboggling. It felt like I was asking for a favour, while the truth is that in this day and age it can't take 6 weeks to effect a wire that, even with KYC checks involved, it takes most other financial institutions at most a week to handle.
