VacatAd helps landlords, investors and asset managers cut the cost of holding vacant commercial property. Empty buildings are expensive. Once the rate-free period on a vacant commercial unit runs out, full business rates fall back on the owner, and on a large industrial, office or retail asset that can mean tens of thousands of pounds a year on space earning nothing. Our job is to stop an empty building quietly draining a portfolio while it waits for a tenant. We design and run compliant occupation and advertising schemes that let owners access the empty property relief they are entitled to. We manage the whole thing: assessing whether a site is suitable, putting the scheme in place, dealing with the billing authority, and keeping the evidence trail that has to stand behind any claim. Schemes are built to come out cleanly and quickly the moment a letting is agreed, so nothing we do gets in the way of the real objective, which is filling the building.
