1-Star Review - Absolute Nightmare Experience with VacuMaid Australia
Wish I could give zero stars. What started as a simple vacuum purchase turned into one of the worst customer service experiences of my life.
Right off the bat, the vacuum arrived in shocking condition - terrible suction, parts literally falling off, and the unit kept overheating. No instruction manual or warranty info included, which should've been my first red flag.
Tried contacting them through their website multiple times about returning it - radio silence. Their contact form seems to be for show because you never hear back. Had to go through my bank for a refund after they ignored all attempts to resolve this properly.
Here's where it gets properly dodgy - after the bank refund, they went completely off the rails. They:
Falsely claimed to report me for "fraud"
Harassed and verbally abused my disabled mother over the phone
We sent their faulty vacuum back within 2 business days of the refund anyway
They responded with "crying laughing" emojis and acted like buffoons.
Save yourself the headache and steer well clear of VacuMaid Australia. Their products are rubbish and their business practices are downright concerning. Plenty of reputable vacuum sellers out there who won't harass your family
