Vagabond was founded in the late 60’s and originally only produced men’s shoes. So much has happened since. In the 80’s Vagabond’s young entrepreneurs-to-be fell in love with the brand and were entrusted with its transformation. In the beginning the design office was located in Portugal and in Italy, close to the world’s best knowledge of shoemaking. In 1993 Vagabond moves back to Varberg, Sweden, to set up a full workshop for prototypes, most likely one of its kind in Northern Europe.

I got shoes from this brand four years ago and they were great. Recently I bought the aleya loafers and they are just awful, very cheaply made and I struggle to believe they’re really made out of real leather. They have the flimsy and low quality feel of fast fashion - certainly not what one would expect from 140 euro shoes. Returning them now and never buying from this brand again.

I’ve never experienced a worse costumer…
I’ve never experienced a worse costumer support!!!! They sent me the wrong shoe and are not willing to exchange it!! Only to go through a return process and to order again. I’ve truly never met such poor costumer support.
