Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service, asked to exchange a product because i mistakenly bought the incorrect one and quickly got my refund and was able to purchase the correct jacket. Also fast shipping and great products. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Exceptional service

Valley and Peak were out of stock of an item I needed in a hurry. The estimated restock date was a month, all other outdoor retailers confirmed the same. However, Valley & Peak were motivated to help - they wasted no time placing the order with their supplier who promised to push it through quickly. V&P monitored its progress from the States to the UK, the huge time differences made this tricky, despite this, they kept me informed of its progress. It was delivered to my door within 2 weeks - amazing success.
What could have been frustrating and disappointing turned into positive experience with a happy ending
Their communication, friendliness and most of all helpfulness was truly exceptional, thank you

At the recent ABR festival

At the recent ABR festival, I unfortunately had an accident with my Hilleberg Allak 2 tent resulting in a burnt footprint and an almost impossible to locate door strap. When I realised Valley & Peak were exhibiting at the show I wandered up and spoke with Dan Jones one of your Gear Experts. What a top bloke, went way above and beyond to help me and even managed to locate a door strap through Hilleberg and had it sent to my house when I got back home. I really can't thank Dan enough for helping me out and it's safe to say Valley & Peak have inherited a new customer. Thanks Dan, hope everything is well. Speak soon, Si.

Missing item quickly resolved.

Order was quickly delivered but an item had fallen out due to slightly unseal package. CS response was prompt and the missing item was replaced and sent out the same day. Great service.

This was my first and last time ordering from Valley and Peakk

This was my first time ordering from Valley and Peak, as my usual retailers were out of stock of the trekking poles I needed. I was very pleased with the competitive pricing and prompt delivery—both aspects were handled flawlessly.

However, issues with customer service became apparent when one of the poles arrived faulty. Unfortunately, customer support is only accessible via email, which makes resolving urgent issues quite frustrating.

I was informed that despite the item being brand new and faulty upon first use, I would need to pursue a warranty claim directly with the manufacturer. Alternatively, I could return the pole to Valley and Peak, who would then liaise with the manufacturer—potentially a more time-consuming process. In either case, I am now left without a fully functional set of poles for several weeks, and with no guarantee of a resolution.

In contrast, other outdoor retailers I’ve used in the past would have simply replaced the item as part of their commitment to customer satisfaction, particularly for a fault evident from the outset.

Regrettably, this experience has left me disappointed. While I appreciate the efficiency of the initial transaction, the after-sales service has not met my expectations. This is likely to be my only order with Valley and Peak, which is a shame given the otherwise strong start.
